Today I pair up with my friend Rachel (https://twitter.com/CeascerSalad) as we discuss upcoming games. We both have wildly differing tastes in games, with me preferring hack and slash, platformers, and casual games, with her loving anything horror. We’ve both been playing games for years, and it’s fun looking through and seeing what games we’d spend the last remaining $20 in our bank accounts on.

Using the Opera GX (not sponsored) game corner, we go through any and all upcoming titles. Some look cool, some look scary. All we are excited for. I don’t hide the fact that Stardew Valley is one of, if not my favorite game. With nearly 700 hours logged, it’s the game I’ve played the most next to The Sims 4. I bought it when it first came out in 2016, and I’ve fallen in love with it. In recent years, I’ve taken to modding the ever living hell out of it, but the charm is still there.

It’s my go to game whenever I feel stressed or want to unwind for the night. It’s a game who’s characters I’ve fallen in love with and who’s overworld I love to explore. It’s  nice to turn off everything around me and just focus on tending my crops. I don’t have to be anything special in Stardew Valley.

Forgot to post something about the last scare house. It was fun. It was based off of the Friday the 13th movies. After we dropped my friends sister and brother off at their dad's place we ended up going to Thayer St. For some food. I always enjoy China Town. It’s nice to just walk around town with her. Talked about a lot too.

The next house we're going through us some form of Christmas themed house. It looks pretty cool from the outside. I'm curious as to what they have planned. I think I'd like something that doesn't rely on jumpscares. Those never really scare me.

My friend dragged me to Feartown on Seekonk! It's a series of haunted houses and trails. We intend on going through three of them. My friend says I'm going first because "white people aren't afraid of shit." I mean...she's not wrong...but if this were real I'd be dead 😂😂😂

Tonight I went to United Skates of America with my friend. I've only recently started roller blading, so I'm not great, and due to me being sick for the past month, it's been hard to go. Despite all that, I've been slowly getting the hang of it. It's been fun, Turning on some anime training arc music and just skating around.

Growing up, I was never able to do this sort of stuff since there was a lack of roller skating rinks where I live, so it's nice to finally try it. I got some roller blades for my birthday and have been working on breaking them in. Overall, it's been fun!

USA is in Rumford, so it's a short drive from my college campus. The regulars have been super nice and helpful. They're more than happy to teach the beginner skaters how to stay on their feet. My best friend is one of those people. Everytime I go around I see her talking to a new person, teaching them the ropes. It's been a really nice experience.
