Being able to experience the life of a news anchor, reporter, and writer was a blessing. The women in the picture above is a news anchor for channel 7, she spoke on diversity within the news industry and how we need it. I was able to create stories from scratch, write them, edit them, and send them off to anchors. Anchors and reporters read the scripts made for them to inform the public on what is going on. I was fascinated with the overall experience. Writers do a lot of research on the news story they are about to write, getting as much info as possible so that the news is as accurate as it happened. Reporters go out and speak live at where the news story occurred, in any weather condition, as to news anchors who for the most part sit at a desk and tell the news story with videos being added. One day I'll be one of those anchors telling a news story on live TV .
