Not only does Tumblr give me the same nostalgia experienced solely from using the family computer, editing my myspace profile, and chatting on AIM. But I love it because it feels like a love letter to myself. Since May 23, 2011 I've used this as an outlet to express myself through words, music, & visuals. It's provided me the space to be my true authentic self no matter how much it makes me cringe later lol. I love that when I'm feeling down, I can go on my page and look at all that I've done, and get reminded that even when it feels bleak & I struggle with to pull out of my deep depressive episodes that my experience isn't all negative.

I'm grateful for this space; & how honest and vulnerable past, present, and future me can/will be.

Thank you to young Brittney for being an archivist at such a young age, and allowing me to see how much we continuously grow.
