Skinny girl habits and tips for weight loss and maintenance ♡ Pt. 2

Hate the feeling of fullness. Eat until you are satisfied, not until you are stuffed, not until you are sluggish, but until you are satisfied. That’s it.

Be busy! Create and explore new and old hobbies!! Keep yourself occupied. For example, I’ve taken up drawing again. Take care of your passions. Try whatever is available to you. This helps you avoid eating out of boredom and only eat with a purpose and intent. You will get dopamine and satisfaction from other things, instead of food.

Become obsessed with green tea! I have some of my own and it’s mixed with ginger. On my last habits and tips post I mentioned water, make green tea a close second!

Try pilates! I mentioned stretching and yoga previously, but pilates takes that and amps it up 10 levels! It incorporates stretching and toning of the muscles. Strengthening deeper muscles to really improve your posture and physique!

Love your protein! Even in a deficit protein is essential for weight loss and fat loss of all kinds. Protein is good for your diet! You burn more calories by processing protein while keeping you fuller longer and more satisfied.

Be obsessed with diet coke or coke zero. I also like sprite zero as it’s a lighter drink and it won’t stain my teeth. (Tip for those who like darker sodas and teas like me, opt for using a straw to avoid staining!)

When you eat healthy for a long enough period while cutting out processed sugars, your taste buds will completely change. Your cravings will also change. Fruit will be so much more sweeter (and healthier too) while candy and doughnuts and cake is too sweet to the point where it’s not enjoyable anymore.

(you guys have been persistent haha)

Biggest tip is to always stay hydrated!!! Sometimes you are not hungry, you are just thirsty actually. If you are hydrated you will never confuse thirst with hunger. Be obsessed with liquids! You can even use them for meals or heavy snacks that will fill you for most of the day. If you are constantly craving something then you are probably just thirsty!

To help with the bloating and night cravings, walk! Walk for 10-15min after dinner. This helps with better digestion and burns some of the food as well as keeping glucose levels from spiking. Because of this, you will not have a crash and lay in bed late nights trying to fight the urge to binge. I’ve been doing it for two weeks now and I can say that it’s amazing!

Be extremely in tune with your body. Allow yourself to be picky and particular. If you do not like something or not interested, then do not eat it! And again, this also applies for eating. Never eat till fullness. Learn your body enough to know when you are satisfied. If you are craving chocolate, take a few bites until the craving is satisfied. You do not need to eat the entire bar in one sitting (yikes)!

Hate being still. Simply put, find ways to be constantly moving. Fidget, walk while on phone, just want to move! Do not be still and do nothing for hours, unless it’s sleeping.

Embody the skinny, clean girl lifestyle. Even if you are not there yet physically, achieve it mentally first, because that is where it begins. Act and live the way you want for your future self. I do this and you can see this trend everywhere. Some people even call it “Wonyoungnism” after a famous idol. Now understand this is not quick fix, this is a life long commitment! It is not “all or nothing” mindset, it is a lifestyle.

auntie came over to give me some of her old 90s/2000s clothes, some really pretty stuff

I put on one of her shirts she gave me, she then ran her hands over the sides of my waist to smooth it out

she then hit out with..."oh i thought you were a lot thinner than that.... I think you've filled out a bit" whilst continuely running her hands over me with a shocked face and laughing in front of everyone else in the living room who turned to look

Prom Countdown: 2 Days 10 Hours 25 Mins

Currently Fasting: 10 Hours 5 Mins

Got made tea toast and ham, successfully only drank the tea and dodged the toast, I feel bad wasting but I'm not failing. Not again.

I'm at least fasting for today, 24 Hours, then I'll eat, and that gives my bloating another 24 hours to calm down, because I'm not eating when I have my prom dress on, I'm not looking ridiculious in that dress, I already feel frumpy in it and I'm one of the bigger girls in our friend group.
