One word to describe Vivi

Complicit. 

Why is no one else pointing this out? we are so occupied with hating Taryn, that we completely ignore how problematic Vivi is. 

The entire fiasco with heather showed that  vivi lives in a bubble of her own.  Despite having two sisters who are human, seeing how they were treated in faerie, she brings heather to Elfhame. Not only that, she manipulates her, tells her at the very last minute then manipulates her again to get out of the situation. Completely disregarding Heather’s plight, which I noticed she did for Jude and Taryn as well.

Perhaps she hated being a faerie, but she was always at the top of the food chain, as no one ever came after her. Thinking back to The cruel prince, I don’t remember vivi taking a strong stand against cardan’s friends,  or really stand up for her sisters. 

Even after Taryn’s betrayal, Vivi refuses to take a side or even admonish her. That is Vivi in a nutshell, she chooses to remain neutral therefore being complicit. If there is anyone who she will stand up against, then it is Maddoc for her own-self.  Her and taryn will only fight for themselves.  Jude has many flaws, but she will always look out for her sisters.
