so i was eating a halloumi durum at 1am on a random bench when a really old dog came up to me to be petted, super friendly and quiet. and after a few minutes this guy walks by and the dog gets up so i say „ah, youre his owner!“ and the guy looks at me without missing a beat and replies „oh no, he owns me. he got me out of the human shelter“ im glad i was sober otherwise that could have send me spiraling man
