it's more complex than that. I have a lot of questions below that I think it's useful to reflect on ๐ you know where to find me to talk it through more ๐ฉท๐ค๐ฉท๐ค๐ฉท๐ค๐ฉท
What is the main emotion that leads you to purge?
Does that emotion deserve to lead your decision making, or is it better to acknowledge it and pass you by?
Do you communicate these thoughts and feelings with the people around you? For example, I will always openly communicate if I worry that I feel sad, guilty. My keyholder is incredibly supportive because she knows how to support me - because I have explained how release can impact me. (And sometimes I still feel bad, it's not a reflection on either of us!)
The "at war with myself" is such a big thing for so many people ๐ฉท I struggled with this a lot. Have you ever watched Inside Out? I treat my masc/femme like this. Both are valued and loved; both need their time to shine (and not to!)
