What is the main emotion that leads you to purge?

Does that emotion deserve to lead your decision making, or is it better to acknowledge it and pass you by?

Do you communicate these thoughts and feelings with the people around you? For example, I will always openly communicate if I worry that I feel sad, guilty. My keyholder is incredibly supportive because she knows how to support me - because I have explained how release can impact me. (And sometimes I still feel bad, it's not a reflection on either of us!)

The "at war with myself" is such a big thing for so many people 🩷 I struggled with this a lot. Have you ever watched Inside Out? I treat my masc/femme like this. Both are valued and loved; both need their time to shine (and not to!)

If you feel any guilt or shame, it may be worth thinking about how much self-love you give yourself 🩷
