Sketchy business. What started as a planned short up and down of Mt. Olympus from the west slabs turned into some of the worst decision making around route finding ever. Ended up in the wrong canyon on the way down which resulted in several almost cliff outs next to flowing water and near 4 hours of straight bushwacking in the dark after taking a nice tumble on a slippery face. Work. It's what happens when you get sick of social media and constantly hearing people talk about it but not be about it. Summiting Superior from the knife ridge the other day with @oster.jacob made me realize how grateful I am to be able to work with such an inspiring, hard working, talented, and all around awesome group of humans from @locals_project. 14 hour days. 4am hikes. Insane amounts of caffeine. Thousands of miles. High highs and low lows. After meeting @oster.jacob in the parking lot of a music festival during my first couple weeks in Utah via some crazy cosmic alignment I slowly began to see everything we had in common.
