It’s that time of year again where my heart aches a little more. Where I am making your next birthday shirt and reminiscing of the last three years. This year you watched as I drew your birthday design then you helped push all the buttons to make it come to life. As you repeated Baby Doo Doo Doo & Mickey Mouse House, each time you said it, the cracks in my heart felt a little more whole. With every, mommy, mommy, hug, I wuv you and tiny kiss my inner child is healing. You’re teaching me to love the parts of my soul I had forgotten.
