hi! i'm night or taylor and i read a lot of fanfic in my free time.

here are some of my formal fic recs:

i also take fic requests, but some general requests from me!

i answer requests on my own time, and that can be anywhere from a day to a month.

i try to answer requests in the order i get them, unless there is a request that i really want to answer.

all my fic recs should be tagged "night recs fics" and "fic recs."

i would appreciate it if you took a glance at my former fic recs (there are a lot!) before requesting to avoid repeat recs, but i also don't mind answering repeats.

i will rec nsfw fics, but it makes me uncomfortable when asks explicitly request, “nsfw fics.” it’s much easier to request a trope that may contain nsfw.

as a general rule of thumb, the more specific fic request, the less fics i will be able to rec. if the request is too too specific, i may not answer it. 

please be polite. just as you wouldn't demand an author to update a fic, please don't demand fics from me. you don't have to be overtly nice, but i do appreciate general etiquette.

dnf but george is getting married and jokes with his fiance to allow guests to bring a plus one but also uninvite someone from the wedding (something he saw on reddit). dream gets his invite and sends his rsvp immediately, knowing just who he wants to uninvite. to george’s surprise, dream uninvites his fiance. 

“good one, dream...” *laughs* “you’re such an idiot”

idk if im hallucinating but i distinctly remember reading a dnf fic that was a hunger games au, and the concept was that it was the quarter quell and former winners were going back into the games. i can’t remember which pov it was from, but there’s a scene where george from district 3 volunteers because the previous year’s winner was drawn, and then immediately after dream volunteers to be the district 4 tribute. and the main character is watching it all on tv with their mentor, soon after being selected. i’m doing an awful job at describing this, but something about how this was written was heart breaking, and it’s something i think about every so often.

there are a couple of other sources saying the same thing, and it doesn’t seem like the hackers plan to abuse user data, but the general consensus is to change your password, enable 2FA, and maybe even change your paypal password if its linked to twitch just in case.
