Resurrecting this blog after ~2 years of inactivity, who would have thought :D
It is today that I decided to make use of this abandoned shack of a blog to blabber about whatever I see fit, in honor of Uruha month and with a push from a very dear friend !! The first post is, of course, dedicated to no one else other than Mr Alien :3
I do honestly believe that people can tell someone is special just by looking at them, and Uruha is that someone. Actually with Uruha I feel the effect is increased ten fold. seriously. you can’t miss it. When I reaaaaally looked at him for the first time, and I’m not exaggerating — literally chills down my spine, my body froze up and all I could do was gawk. His look was only a part of it (though let’s be real :’3 it was what kept my jaw detached for what felt like an eternity (〃ω〃) most ethereal man I’ve ever seen in my life #forreal). It was something deeper, otherworldly almost, and I knew then that I will be an urugya for life :3
It is still baffling to me how someone can be so well/rounded and… special (I keep using that haha :’3 restrictive vocab final boss) and not seeing it. The guy is a jack of all trades, master of everything and would still say “oh I’m just ordinary” :’3 I think he intended to be the master of humbleness too, that greedy man. But that’s okay, leave it to me and others to glaze him in his stead. He is one of a few who I believe is truly kind at heart. Not to say I’m a master at reading people, but through reading his interview, observing him and hearing from other fans, I could firmly conclude that he is kind and gentle and sincere. What I respect most about him, is his attitude towards music. It never fails to amaze me how dedicated he is towards every composition and every live performance, I can feel the passion and the love he poured into them :’3 This is a quality so rare in this day and age when people just seem to :( not care much about music anymore. Since before I know it, Uruha’s compositions are usually my favorites in every album. Deracine, 13 stairs, The Mortal just to name a few, keep me binging for hours on end. Dude must have tear off pieces of his soul to put into those song, that’s the only logical explanation as to why is it THAT good :’3
This is getting long, but I just want to say I admire him so much T^T. I have not known him for long, nor is he the first musician that I’ve come to admire, but I can say he’s the most impactful figure to me till this day !! His compositions, his personality, his attitude and he himself inspire me endlessly, he reignited my love for drawing, and inspired me to pick up guitar and songwriting, for that I am forever indebted to him <3 To me he is a role model, a muse, and more than everything, someone I’ve come to love more than I could ever imagine. Wishing him health and endless joy and happiness, and hoping that one day I’ll get to see him and tell him all of this in person <3 <3
