i just started WHA and the one thing i know deep in my heart is that i just want to see coco go ape shit

so here's a rough sketch of what i think her brim hat fit would look like

#my art '26 #witch hat atelier #wha #it's hard to see but i took a lot of inspiration from the clothes of characters who've had a large impact on her #tbh i totes think she'd be inked up under all her clothes #the greatest witch who's immortal cuz she gave herself tattoos #or something i literally just started the series cut me some slack #i can't rlly show it in a single image but her brim is meant to be transparent like a bubble #only visible from certain angles and iridescent rainbow‚ so it shifts in color when she moves #i think she'd also be able to hide her brim and show it to only ppl she'd want to see it

i've had these, what were considered "pretty good", alcohol markers for years now

hadn't touched them in a while but now i find that they're all dried out :|

the prismacolor markers i have are at least a decade old and are still juicy, so that means these caps don't seal properly.

#my art '26 #bratz #bratz doll #so a little background on the ad in the middle image #i have had this ad for nearly 2 decades now — the dolls used to come with little pamphlets with previews of upcoming doll releases #and i kept it because i wanted to draw this bratz doll eventually LMAO #as it turns out i never actually got to see what this doll looked like... until i decided to draw her :D #and holy shit was her actual release garbage. a travesty. they butchered her skirt design which is why it was so hard to draw her #there were no real good reference images for what her skirt SHOULD HAVE looked like #anyways i'm not really like. satisfied with this one #maybe i'll do a yearly redraw with her?
