My uncle brought us out for lunch today, and my grandmother was ecstatic to be out of the house. She even brought her favourite pair of chopsticks out to use. Also, it felt great to be able to carry a camera, even if for a while. My right arm is healing nicely and I’m slowly, but surely, regaining my strength. Snapped a few quick shots of the two cats residing in my grandmother’s place after I accompanied my granny home.

We woke up earlier that day to make a trip down to see the famous Osaka Castle. The weather was nice. A light drizzle had just stopped, and the winds bore a light touch of summer’s coolness.

One More Time - A Tribute to Zouk at Jiak Kim Street (Part 2)

This was my first time photographing a live concert. The Henderson Project involved a 50 piece orchestra that included violinists, cellists, and percussionists that played a seamless 90 minute house music performance. The laser lit show was held over two days at The Capitol Theatre.

The electrifying event was a tribute to the 25 years of music the iconic Zouk at Jiak Kim Street played.

The production is by The Henderson Project, a subsidiary of theatre company Dream Academy.

Alex’s purple hair

The best friend wanted me to capture her purple hair before it completely faded. I decided that to better highlight her hair, we needed a contrasting background. We felt that yellow would work and found this gem of a rooftop for a quick portraiture session.
