My name is Yukina, and I play the clarinet. It’s nice to meet you.

how many monsters have you actually killed?
Many! It’s my job to keep the population safe from danger!
As for an actual number, I’ve got no clue
Familiar (and annoying) crimson horns poke through among the top of the crowd in the city. - @tobi-eto
Yukina looks through the crowd to confirm her suspicions that it is who she suspects. Upon further inspection, it’s exactly who she thinks.
“Eto!” She calls out. Her hand is already on her gun holster.
Tobi freezes up and then turns around quickly, surprised. "AH—? Nishimura!?" He stammers, taken off guard.
“What is this place?” She asks, “Is this your doing? Where are we?”
She has a confident stance and a serious face.
'That's for me to know and you to find out!" he says and smiles like how he always does, inflection songlike.
“It’d really benefit you someday to learn from your mistakes, Eto.”
She took her hand off her holster and cracked her knuckles, seemingly sure she could win a fight with the monster with her bare hands.
He says, and starts running. Very fast. Looking over his shoulder, he calls a taunt in response to Yukina's comment, saying, "Sure would!"
...Unfortunately, it seems like all of his speed only makes the impending collision with the wall hurt that much more.
“Oh, my…” She says with a sigh.
She walks over to him, slumped on the ground, and holds him by the front of his shirt. “You will tell me where we are and how you brought us here if you value your life.”
"Shiiiit, my head..." he mutters, then processing the situation he's in.
"AH—? I don't know, really don't know!! Honest!" Tobi yelps, putting his hands up in a yield.
She paused for a moment before speaking again. “Surely you understand how hard it is to believe you.”
She shook him a little, trying to force information out of him.
"Right, right, you take me for a liar. Forgot how little you talk to me aside for coming and beating my ass, haha," he scowls, but there's not much venom in it. "Shaking me like I've got secrets in my pockets won't do much. Clueless as you are."
“Fine then,” She huffed, frustration evident in her tone. “You will stay with me until we make it out of here. I don’t trust you out of my sight.”
"Uh... sure?" Tobi says, unsure what else to comment on. "Could you let go of my, let go of my shirt now? The collar's gonna get all fucked up if you keep holding it like that, y'know."
She narrowed her eyes at him before letting go and backing off. She continued to glare at him, making sure he didn’t move a muscle in a direction she didn’t like.
"Such an intense gaze! Is it, maybe, maybe..." he gasps in a dramatic manner, putting a hand over his mouth. "That you have a crush on me!? Of course!" He then facepalms, shaking his head.
"How did I not see this before? Don't worry Nishimura, it's okay to be young and in love. I won't tell anyone," Tobi grins, amused by his own comments.
A look of surprise flashes across her face before contorting into a look of disgust.
She took out a large katana that had been resting on her hip. “Ah, I get it, Eto! You want to die now, that’s it, right?!”
Her face was red with anger and embarrassment. “Don’t worry! I’ll make it slow and torturous!” Tobi could practically see steam coming from her head.
He bursts into laughter, holding his stomach as he does so. "Oh, oh, holy shit— you've never made that face before! It's a good one, we should get it painted, Nishimura." Then, Tobi notices the katana she's holding and probably going to put to his throat if he continues down that path. "What the hell? A gun and a katana? You got a catapult too?"
“It’s my job to put down monstrous creatures such as yourself. Naturally I come equipped for every possible scenario!” She exclaimed, clearly proud of herself and her preparedness.
"D'you want a gold star...?" He asks absentmindedly, his next question coming more from genuine curiosity. "Whatever. What else are you carrying?"
She opens her mouth to answer before reconsidering. “I don’t know what makes you think I’d tell you.”
"Agh, almost had you! So close," he sighs. "I'll figure out what Yukina's Secwet Widdle Demonkiwwer is one day, one day soon..."
She scoffs, rolling her eyes. “As if I would ever let that happen.”
She’s still holding her katana in her hand, and although it’s pointed at nothing in particular, her harsh grip on the hilt is noticeable. She doesn’t seem like the type to let her guard down.
"Whaaaateverrrrr. Blechhh." He pauses. "Well, if you're that insistent on keeping me in your sight, tell me what's on the regiment, on the menu? We can't stay still forever, as much fun as it is to keep riling you up," Tobi yawns. On the inside of his throat, it is uniquely inhuman in form.
Yukina grimaces at the sight of his monstrous attributes but focuses back at the task at hand.
“We could walk around, scope out the area, find out where we are and what we’re dealing with to get a better feel of the place.” Her tone is genuine.
"Walked around with a certain harpy earlier and found it was a big city full o' noise and shit. So not much different. Buildings a bit taller and roads a bit narrower, I guess."
She raised an eyebrow. “Hm? Where’s the harpy now?”
"Dunno. She's free now, running round the streets and whatnot. I was gonna go get us both a chee-caw-goh styled hot-dog thingy before you came and jumped me. How cruel that was, how laughable!"
”You’re overreacting— I hardly even touched you!” She rolled her eyes again. It seems she almost hates to look at him.
He draws out his reaction, sniffling. "Now... they're sold out, all gone! I'll never be able taste a chi-cay-goo hot-dog now, Nishimura. I'm practically wallowing in my misery."
”Keep complaining and I’ll be compelled to put you out of your misery the hard way…” She muttered under her breath.
"Cry, cry, cry. Boo hooey," he continues.
She settled for kicking his leg.
