I’m loving the extra whimsy the patterned edges give these new floral pieces! These two 6 inch sunflowers on purple are honestly so much more striking in person… I need better lighting.

Sometimes, when you need a little cheering up, you just have to paint a happy daisy! Painting this one turned a gloomy day around, hopefully it’ll bring cheer to a home too.

Celebrating my birthday and 16 years on Etsy with a 25% off original paintings sale in the nJoyArt shop. Looking to some whimsy and color to your walls? https://njoyart.etsy.com/listing/1581644124
What’s your sign? Do you have a favorite constellation? I am thinking of doing constellation paintings and possibly making them glow in the dark. What do you think?
Recently my family visited Japan to enjoy the cherry blossom festivals over there. The pictures they sent me from their vacation were so very beautiful, they inspired me to keep painting flowers. I started with these two cherry blossom pieces.
They are 12x16 inch acrylic canvases with fully painted edges, they are ready to hang. Is the floral section in my Etsy shop to purchase.

Just to add a bit of ‘color’ ;) this poppy painting was the first thing I painted with the intention of selling my art on Etsy. The lovely lady who purchased has 3 of my poppy paintings and has just commissioned a third! #lovemycollectors
Currently working on another large poppy painting to join this and 2 others at a collectors home. There’s nothing better than getting a custom order request! https://njoyart.etsy.com/listing/50297413
This painting is definitely a different direction for nJoyArt. The image came to me during a mindful meditation, and I had to paint this giant sunflower with the emerald eye amid a field of blinking sunflowers.

In northern Finland there is a mythical creature known as the "firefox" (tulikettu or tulirepo.) Finnish folklore believes the creature causes the Aurora Borealis, known as revontulet or "fox fires.” Legend holds that this magical, elusive fox runs through Arctic snowdrifts, brushing its flaming tail against trees and fells to scatter sparks into the night sky. 🦊 🌌
I saw an adorable photo of a baby giraffe with its parents at an Utah zoo. It made me want to share my giraffe family painted for kids rooms but sure to bring smiles to any space.
Of course there’s another one…
“Dream a Little Dream of Me” is the second version of this painting I’ve done. It sold and I liked it enough to paint another!
“You are the sunshine of my life” an 11x14 beachy acrylic featuring seagulls and a houseboat. Had to mix it up and do something other than “You are my sunshine” can’t go wrong with Stevie Wonder!
I love painting these winter birch trees, decided to add a fire fox to this one.
Frida’s Tears, I was inspired to paint this one after painting the copy of Freya’s Tears.
