How to Preserve Eucalyptus
“Hang the eucalyptus upside down by tying it to your shower head with twine. When you run your shower, the steam will rise up towards the eucalyptus, filling your bathroom with the most refreshing, relaxing scent. Plus, the added greens are lovely on the eyes. You’ll definitely feel a little closer to nature.”
So I began my online Childcare course a few months ago, and so far I’ve been doing pretty well with it, after getting around the whole reference thing anyway. At the moment I’m learning about Cultural Identity & Competency, and so far this module has been focusing on how your environment and experiences can effect your beliefs, and cultural identity. It’s also really encourages reflection, which I’m a huge fan of. One of our learning activities was to recount an event that had happened that influenced a change in attitude in regards to your beliefs, values and attitudes. I chose the event in my life that helped me not be a bigot and racist towards aboriginals. I was beaten up by 4 girls, and in the interview I had to sit in to get action taken against them, an elder was a witness and said in her introduction that she was there in support of me, to show that this behaviour doesn’t represent the aboriginal community. And I thought that was beautiful. She’s a family friend now, she’s a very charismatic lady who is so warm, loving, open and just has so much friendship to give. I’m so thankful for her and for what she did for me and my self growth as a human being. I’m excited to take what I have learnt from my experience and apply it practically.
I ran away from you, and now something’s killing me You hang me up as a souvenir of what I couldn’t be And I should’ve crashed the car when I was all alone Escape from all I know
I recently discovered this dudes voice, and I can’t stop.
