My BG3 experience without context

If you're not confused, don't worry, I am confused enough for the both of us. I'm bad at games. Especially ones with options and a large map. Please don't give me major spoilers. "Have you seen the hag" is okay, but "here's the hags name, location and the plot" isn't. As a personal rule for my playthrough, I don't reload saves unless I die. So if I mess up, I mess up.

I have completed all the quests from the myconid village. And most of what the mind flayer had to offer. So I decided to go to the towers, I thought it was another wide quest. Now Gale wants to suicide bomb? M'boy? No? Can you not?

I kept wandering south, found an amulet with a spirit ghost guy? Idk, most of the abilities aren't useful to me but it's still neat. I think imma keep him.

Uhhhh so I found the forge. You can probably guess what came after. And I have the squishy boi team rn. Luckily I long rested right before T.T Although I did well, got him to half health despite forgetting how to turn the lava back on and despite having immediately waltzed Gale into the lava with a misclick.

Update on my location, I have no idea where I am. There was a ruin city that had some slavers in it, and an awakened or summ, I covered all that. But then there was some parkour and now I'm a hot ways into the volcanic area. Found a forge, now I'm trying to make mithril armor, but the whole forge just lowered and now I'm scared to touch anything T.T

Got the drow absolute Nere out as well as some of the deep gnomes. But he won't talk to me, and there's one standing in the room who I can't even interact with. I think I broke something but my last save is pre-fight, and Nere seems like a dick, so I think I might fight him without talking since I can't talk.

Edit: ganked him, I think the glitch was that he managed to kill meerna but the game was still registering her as alive.

Getting speak with animals was the best decision ever. I just talked some spiders into leaving to enter lolth's "hairy embrace".

Edit: retrospectively I'm glad, it means I didn't have to fight them, I love solving problems before they're a problem
