“well your genetics are working against me” noah’s real issue here would be the fact that if anything ever happened, he’d have to tiptoe to kiss the boy and that would get exhausting fast. “i don’t think it’s nice, that’s your negative.” his voice was playful, no truth in his words.

He relaxed as he felt Noah’s hands on his hair again. “Probably terrifying to anyone that isn’t six feet tall themselves,” he added, chuckling. “Noah, tell me, I’m curious.”

“i don’t like you being taller than me, it’s not fair. isn’t the smaller one meant to be the little spoon? it’s all out of wack.” noah complained with a small huff, a smile still in place though. it was true, orion was nothing but positive in his head.  except for the fact orion wasn’t his, that was definitely a flaw.

“That is definitely permission to continue,” Orion nodded, smiling. “I’m just glad my sister and I were both babies at the same time, I don’t think I could handle being around a baby at my height and level of clumsiness now. Just tell me, Noah, I mean, I’m pretty sure I’d hear it in your thoughts within the next five minutes, and I’m curious. You might as well tell me.”

noah rolled his eyes only, hands returning to the boy’s hair. “you are quite clumsy and tall, probably terrifying to a baby.” he kept his tone teasing and light, focusing on his last fight to try keep anything incriminating out of his mind. “You don’t want to hear it, trust me. it’s not anything that is your fault either way.”
