Noah had been falling behind at his swim practices, he knew he had to start practicing on his own to try and shape up. He went over to the pool ditching his clothes in the change room before bringing out a towel over to the side of the pool. He was about to get in when he heard a noise, he thought he was alone. âIs someone there?â

     damien gives a polite hello to the other diner employees as he settles in his usual booth.  he comes to the diner quite often, of course, for obvious reasons.  the biggest reason being the person coming over to his table.  â salut, mon lapin, â  he greets his little brother with a pleasant grin.  it wouldnât be the first time heâs used noahâs old childhood endearment, uses it solely to tease, really,  â  ça va ? â Â
    â is your shift over yet ?  or do you still have a few minutes left ? â  not that damien has anywhere to go, but he does miss hanging out with noah.  hasnât spoken to him face-to-face in a while.
Noah was finishing up his shift when he noticed his brother walk in, he sent a smile his way before taking dishes away from the customer and heading to the back so he drop them in the sink and punch out. He was glad to see Damien, they hadnât had face to fact time in awhile. Upon approach he heard his brother say his nickname and he couldnât help but chuckle. âYou are literally the only one that calls me that now,â he shook his head.
Noah sat down in the booth in front of his big bro, he crossed his legs settling in. âItâs done now, did you wanna grab food or somewhere else?â
âhi! can i take just a moment of your time?â rydel asked as another person brushed her off as soon as she held out the clipboard. after feeling like she wasnât working hard enough to help keep the word out in the community about Cristianâs disappearance she was making one ditch effort on starting something that can officially give students the place to go for help on grieveing the three students who still havnât been given the closure they need for everyone to feel safe but above all a place to volunteer to help get things more focused on finding out who killed michael, where crisitan has gone, and where leila has been.Â

Noah noticed Rydel and her clipboard, he gave a friendly smile and stopped. She was Cadeâs cousin after all and the boy was his best friend, so he made it a point to be nice to his cousin. âSure!â Noan said taking the clipboard from her. âWhat am I signing?â

noah veilleuxâs family comes from a very old money family. both sides of his family grew up heavily staunch in riches. his momâs family runs a fashion company in france, while his father comes from a long line of lawyers and politicians.
youngest veilleux, practically raised by his big bro because who needs actual parental love when you have money???
he and his siblings would often switch between parents, but they mainly spent their education in america, meaning he didnât get to see his mom often.
with a distant father, noah relied on his brother to be the father figure. being the youngest. noah was personally close to his grandmother, so when she passed away it hit him hard. he went to group therapy to deal with it rather than resorting to substance abuse like his big brother. it was the one time he felt incredibly disappointed in his big bro and this what caused him to try and become his own person and figure out who he is outside his family. not rely on his brother too much.
then the bullying started. noah didnât know why he got targeted so much, maybe it was because he small since he wasnât very athletic and he was gay but he thought in this time period. being gay should not be that much of big deal.
noah thought the bullying would stop once he started college, but michael had seemed fixated on the boy. any chance he had to pick on noah he took, in the rare times it got physical he would hide out from his brother not wanting him to see him hurt. his sister really became his confidant here.
he works at the diner near the school, not because he is starving for money but because he wants to be able to not ask her parents for anything, he resents them for not being there for him and his siblings.
