Dr prescribed me tirzepatide to reverse my current pre-diabetic status. I did loads of research on it, and aside from some associated nausea, found no negatives to taking it. I started taking it about three weeks ago, so I guess this is a "before" photo. I know it will cause me to lose weight, but I'm honestly jus trying to dodge the diabetes. It'll be cool to fit into some of my old shirts again. My wife had to give me my first shot, but I've gotten solid at it since then.
Didn't have time to fully finish my hands last week, but got my fingers and a gap filler on the side of my hand/thumb done. He also tried to fix my right hand where the original artist went too deep and the ink is slowly spreading out. Talked more about getting my back started. I really wanna finish my head first though. I also wanna work on my legs, and start finishing up/blast over whatever unfinished pieces I have on me.. kinda stuck on what to do next.
Trying to finish my hands tomorrow if we have enough time. Fingers, thumbs, and sides of palms.
Did more work on my bigass head, and filled in a small gap on my neck yesterday. My homie Wes at Reelfly Tattoo in Concord, NC, did it.

Welp, I'm 42 now. I collect toys more now than I did when I was a kid.

I got my throat tattooed last week. I've been finding excuses to not do it for around 20 years, so I took the last month or so to mentally prepare for it. My boy Rev. Wes at Reelfly Tattoo in Concord, NC, did it. I regret not just doing the filler work around it to finish out the front of my neck, because I never want another tattoo needle to touch that part of my body again. I'm still debating on whether or not to shave my beard off and tattoo under my chin. Plan is to finish off the main pieces on my head next, then I want to knock out my fingers and start on the rest of my back. I'd really like to go ahead and do my chest, but I'm still too indecisive to get started on it.
I spent five hours yesterday getting my throat tattooed. I've wanted to do it for 20 years, but kept putting it off because I was worried about the pain. I was right. I have lots of tattoos in fairly painful areas and aside from my armpit and elbows, none of them were really that bad. The throat is a new realm. Dead center over the adams apple was a breeze.. but when he started working up under the jawbone on the sides I felt a pain that I've never dealt with before. I'm glad to have it done, but it'll probably be a while before I do the filler pieces around the front of my neck.
Top of my head is next.
