One night I was looking at art nouveau paintings and illustration and I was inspired by one of Alphonse Mucha piece ‘The Moon’ so I decided to study his drawing and I went with this with a little twist. I absolutely love how he captures the softness and mystique of the women he paints.

“She lived in the aftermath of every battle, breathed in the devastation until she was drowning in it. Nothing and no one would ever convince her that anything noble or purifying could come from this scale of suffering. That any rewards could ever be worth it.”

Finishing Alchemised by Senlinyu last year left me utterly devastated and hollow but I enjoyed every moment of it. Not a day has gone by where I haven’t thought about Helena and Kaine and all of the suffering and sacrifices they had to overcome. So here is a drawing I’ve done of Helena Marino in the hospital wishing for the war to end 🥲 I hope others will enjoy this just as much as I have of creating this piece
