Noir Promises AU (Miraculous Ladybug) [Random Dialouges #8 Part 4/end]

[Ladybug does her miraculous ladybug, Queen Bee divides herself from Plagg, gives him the miraculous to give back and Prince Shadow gets de-evilized back to Félix]

Félix: What happened? Ladybug? Queen Bee?

Marinette (Ladybug) & Chloé (Queen Bee): Pound it.

Marinette (Ladybug): Gotta go, you keep that Queen Bee, we might need you again. Bug out!

[Ladybug leaves]

Chloé (Queen Bee): Thanks again for saving me...Ladybug.

Félix: W-Where’s-?!

Chloé (Queen Bee): She’s fine, Ladybug’s miraculous ladybug brought everything back to normal.

Félix: I see...

Chloé (Queen Bee): Anyway, I got to go. You got somewhere to go to too, right? I’ll take you there before I detransform.

Félix: To Françoise Dupont High School, please.

[A few moments later, Plagg reunited with Félix again, gives the ring and rushing to class]

Plagg: Kid! Oh thank goodness you’re okay-!

Félix: No time, I gotta find the Class Rep!

[Plagg hides in Félix’s bag, when noticing Marinette in the distance]

Marinette: Félix!

[with a relieved face, he tackle hugs Marinette]

Félix: I’m sorry!

Marinette: F-Félix, what are you sorry for?

Félix: I...I don’t know... I just had a horrible feeling I did something terrible to you while I was akumatized.

[Marinette starts to blush]

Marinette: I’m fine Félix, you never harmed me. You even called me... your precious Marinette...

[Félix is embarassed and starts to stutter]

Félix: Hahaha r-really? W-Wow that sounds nothing like me. I’ve never call you by your first name, hahahaha...

[Marinette looks straight at Félix’s embarassed face]

Marinette: Félix... do you love me?

[Félix looks away from Marinette’s eyes]

Félix: What? Pfff me? Loving you? You have to be an idiot to believe what any akuma says to you. Besides, you’re just a friend to me, and nothing will change that.

[Marinettw remembers what Queen Noir said and backs away, trying to change the subject]

Marinette: ...R-Right. Nothing...A-Anyway, Lila confessed her “lies” but...

Félix: She’s still in the clear, huh? Well people will get it sooner or later.

[Chloé appears behind Marinette and Félix]

Chloé: Like me?

Marinette: Chloé?!

Chloé: Yup, we may not always agree with each other, Dupain-Cheng, but an enemy of my enemy is always my friend.

[Félix stares at Chloé sternly]

Félix: Chloé.

Chloé: And any friend of Félix and Adrien is a friend of mine.

Félix: See Class Rep, if Lila attempts something, count on us to defend you. We’ll be right there for you.

Marinette: Thanks guys.

[Ladybug and Queen Bee hide from Prince Shadow and his clone shadow army]

Chloé (Queen Bee): Okay, what’s the plan?

Marinette (Ladybug): Take the ring, you’ll need to paralyze Prince Shadow with your venom and destroy the akumatized object with cataclysm while I handle the clones.

Chloé (Queen Bee): Look I know you can’t do it because it would trigger too much power for the ladybug and the cat miraculouses to be together, but are you sure I can handle it? Unlike you, Chat and Rena, this is my first time.

Marinette (Ladybug): You can do this, Queen Bee, I know you can.

[Queen Bee nods then takes Chat Noir’s miraculous]

Chloé (Queen Bee): Plagg! Pollen! Unify!

[Queen Bee turns into Queen Noir]

Chloé (Queen Noir): Now, I’m Queen Noir!

[Prince Shadow searching for Marinette all over Paris using his shadow clones]

Félix (Prince Shadow): My precious Marinette, where have you run off to. You don’t have to be scared of me, I’m not the enemy here.

[Ladybug a little confused and taps Queen Noir on the shoulder]

Marinette (Ladybug): Did he just say “My precious Marinette”?

Chloé (Queen Noir): Yeah, uhh about that. My second childhood best friend, Félix, he’s the cousin of Adrien and has a secret crush on Dupain-Cheng. Which is probably why he got akumatized, since Lila hurt Dupain-Cheng this morning with her web of lies.

[Ladybug blushes from realization]

Marinette (Ladybug): Wait what?!

Chloé (Queen Noir): Oh right, don’t tell Dupain-Cheng, Ladybug. He made it clear that he wouldn’t pursue her, even though he loves her.

Marinette (Ladybug): ...And why’s that?

Chloé (Queen Noir): ...Because that utterly ridiculous girl is in love with Adrien, not him.

[Marinette hiding, running from the shadow clones to find a empty space to transform, then sees Plagg approach her]

Marinette: P-Plagg? What are you doing here with Chat Noir’s ring?! Has something happened to him?!

Plagg: Long story short, he managed to hide me and the ring away, before the villain shadow bubbled him, since there were too many witnesses to transform anywhere anyway.

Marinette: He did the right thing. But how am I going to do this without Chat Noir?

Tikki: You should get an allie with you before fighting the villain, if he already captured Chat Noir already.

Marinette: I can’t, it’s too risky. His clone shadows could confuse me if everyone in the school is already captured, which could lead me to accidentally revealing their identities.

Plagg: There is one person he hasn’t captured, that I passed by trying to get here, but I don’t know if she wants her Miraculous again.

[Marinette shocked, remembering who Plagg’s talking about]

Marinette: You mean... Chloé?

Plagg: I don’t why the villain didn’t shadow bubble her like the others, but she’s your best shot!

Marinette: But Chloé wanted to quit being Queen Bee after Adrien’s...no we can’t dwell on that now, we are out of options. We have to find her!

[after transforming and locating Chloé, Ladybug explains that they need her back on the team]

Chloé: N-No! I told you already Ladybug when I gave my miraculous away, I don’t want to be Queen Bee ever again!

Marinette (Ladybug): Please Chloé! The others are already shadow bubbled and it’s only a matter of time before he shadow bubbles everyone in Paris and gains an army of shadow clones!

Chloé: That is your problem, not mine anymore! Félix...I mean Prince Shadow... he let me go because he knew I trusted Dupain-Cheng, of course anyone with a brain can tell that girl Lila is a liar through and through. Besides, I can’t fight my second childhood best friend. You are better off without me!

Marinette (Ladybug): Not your-? What is wrong with you?!

Chloé: Don’t you understand?! I’m a failure of a superhero! I could have caught him! I was so close! Adrien died because I didn’t save him in time! I’m... useless...

Marinette (Ladybug): Listen to me! Everyone makes mistakes! Time heals wounds once we learn to forgive ourselves and walk forward. You can walk forward with me, and we can learn to forgive ourselves together. Like a friend once told me, the first step is always the hardest, but every other step after will be easy. Adrien would have wanted this for us...

[Chloé gets her confidence again and takes back the Bee miraculous]

Chloé: Thank you... Ladybug.

Marinette (Ladybug): Welcome back, Queen Bee.

[Marinette outside the school doors after Lila turns the school against her]

Marinette: What’s the point... no one believes what I say anymore...

[Félix rushes to Marinette after seeing an Akuma flying towards her]

Félix: LOOK OUT YOU IDIOT!

[Félix gets hit with an Akuma, after holding her to protect her]

Marinette: F... Félix?!

Félix: R-Run... Marinette... run!

Marinette: N-No! I can’t leave you like this!

Félix: GO...AND GET LADYBUG! I WON’T...F-FORGIVE MYSELF..IF YOU’RE HURT... I TRUST YOU... NOW RUN!!!

[Marinette runs off and Félix throws his ring towards Plagg who is at his bag]

Félix: P-Plagg... run... take the ring... and give it...to Ladybug! I... don’t know how much longer... I can resist!

Plagg: ...Okay, but we’re gonna save you, promise!

[Plagg runs off with the ring]

Félix: Thank you... Plagg... AHHHHHH!!!

Hawkmoth: Hello boy, I am Hawkmoth.

Félix: I know... exactly who you are... You won’t... get away with this! I won’t let you... hurt my friends!

Hawkmoth: Your friends? They have abandoned your loved one like trash. They don’t deserve her! I want to help you get rid of them and the person behind all your loves misery. She deserves friends who will always love her as much as you do, wouldn’t you agree?

Félix: (S-Sh*t... losing focus... I can’t...)

[Félix completely under Hawkmoth’s akumatized control]

Hawkmoth: Prince Shadow, I’m giving you the power to turn any person’s shadow into your loyal clone servants so that your loved one will always feel safe and loved. In return, you must give me Ladybug and Chat Noir’s Miraculous!

Félix (akumatized): Yes Hawkmoth. Starting with, Lila Rossi.

What was Félix’s promise exactly? Was it a self promise or did he promise Adrien?

Félix’s first promise to himself he would protect Paris and Ladybug, for the rest of his days, until Hawkmoth was defeated.

The second thing he promised himself was that he would help heal Adrien’s friends hearts from the tragic event that happened to Adrien, because he knows that Adrien wouldn’t want his friends to be sad because of him.

His third promise was to not fall in love for anybody. Which he was doing a very terrible job at keep that one, since he fell for Marinette before the tragedy. (That would be explained in a different dialogue) He knows if he gets attached, it would be really hard not to spill the dark truth about himself, since he would want to be fateful to his lover. But he is unsure if she would ever love him back anyway, since she likes Adrien and even if she did move on from him, his dark secret would lead to more heartbreak for her. But love can make you do crazy things, so he will be back and forth with this promise specifically.

His last promise was when Hawkmoth and Mayura are defeated, he would announce to Paris his sins and how he her really got his Miraculous. (Since no one knows Félix stole the Miraculous, except Master Fu) He knows what will happen after he tells the truth and hopes Paris would forgive him one day. It would be the day he no longer has to be Chat Noir.

And that’s how he purposely transferred schools and became the new Chat Noir as a result. Hope this helps. -KT

So Adrien is dead in this AU? How did he die and how did Félix find the Cat Miraculous?

Adrien died when the Miraculous Hero Team (Ladybug, Chat Noir, Rena Rouge, Carapace and Queen Bee) were fighting against Hawkmoth and Mayura at the Eiffel Tower. Ladybug was knocked out cold, while the others were beaten down. Chat Noir, with a last ditch effort to save Ladybug, he Cataclysms directly to Mayura. Pushed by Hawkmoth after hitting Mayura, Chat Noir fell from the Eiffel Tower. He managed to grab on to something before falling, but his ring fell off, and was forced to change back into Adrien.

Félix found out about Adrien being Chat Noir after he accidentally saw him transform in his room and at first was hesitant to follow him to the Eiffel Tower fight. Félix then runs to the Eiffel Tower after a live broadcast was shown of the Miraculous Team being beaten down, then it blacked out afterwards after losing signal forcing the broadcasters to retreat. By the time he got there, Adrien was dangling on the Eiffel Tower and the Cat Miraculous Ring hits his head. The SentiMonster that was with Hawkmoth and Mayura, currently going wild saw Félix and was ready to attack him.

He panicked and ran off with the Miraculous.

Adrien left to fend for himself, loses grip on his hand and falls down. His fall break something that was in his jacket pocket for a very long time, his mother’s glass ring. A glowing feather falls out of his pocket, from the ring as he slowly fades, realizing a very shocking fact.

Adrien was a SentiMonster. And it made sense. His memories only went as far as 3 years, while the rest of his “childhood” was very blurred, like they were planted in him. But who created him? Though devastated, he put his smile back on as Ladybug came to see him. He was grateful that he at least got to see his lady one last time.

The next day, Adrien, also known as Chat Noir was announced dead.

No one other than the Miraculous Team, Hawkmoth and Mayura would know that Adrien was a SentiMonster and not human.

[Félix walks around near the Eiffel Tower at night and sees Marinette]

Félix: Class Rep? What are you doing here?

Marinette: Li... ar...

Félix: Hm? Sorry, I didn’t catch that?

Marinette: LIAR!

[Marinette pushes Félix hard to the ground]

Félix: Ow! What was that for-?

Marinette: HOW COULD YOU?!

[Félix is puzzled and confused]

Félix: H-Huh?

Marinette: I thought we were friends... but you... YOU KILLED ADRIEN! YOU LIED TO ME!!!

Félix: N-No! It wasn’t me! I had nothing to do with Adrien’s death!

Marinette: THEN TELL ME! TELL ME HOW YOU HAVE CHAT NOIR’S RING?!

Félix: I...I just...

[Ladybug appears out of nowhere]

Marinette (Ladybug): I should have never trusted you, faker! You never were given a Miraculous, YOU STOLE IT!

Félix: I d-didn’t steal it! I just didn’t know! I found it by pure chance!

[Chloé appears out of nowhere]

Chloé: Pure chance?! You saw Adrien transform into Chat Noir and even followed him to the fight with Hawkmoth! You are utterly ridiculous to think we believed you found the ring by pure chance!

Félix: I did find it by chance, I swear! But... I didn’t know what to do... I hesitated... I ran away with it... BUT I DIDN’T KILL HIM!

[Kagami appears out of nowhere]

Kagami: YOU ABANDONED ADRIEN WHEN HE NEEDED YOU MOST!

[Luka appears out of nowhere]

Luka: YOU’RE THE REASON FOR EVERYONE’S GRIEF AND MARINETTE’S!

[Alya and Nino appear out of nowhere]

Alya And Nino: YOU BETRAYED HIM! LEFT HIM TO DIE!

Marinette (Ladybug), Marinette & Chloé: YOU KILLED HIM!!!

[Félix starts breaking down and crying]

Félix: I DIDN’T! I DIDN’T! I DIDN’T!

[Lila appears out of nowhere]

Lila: Oh my dear old friend, Félix. And here I thought I was the liar. But you? You even lie to yourself. You are the biggest liar in all of Paris. Now pay for your sins.

[Lila transforms into Volpina smiling, as everyone else grabs hold of Félix, with Marinette walking forward with a knife as her face is lifeless but in tears, ready to stab Félix]

Lila (Volpina): Bye bye, kitty~!

[Félix wakes up from the dream, sweating and panicked]

Félix: NO!

[Plagg is already in front of Félix]

Plagg: Félix, are you okay?! You were tossing and turning in your sleep.

Félix: ...Yeah, I’m okay. Just... a nightmare.

Plagg: Kid...

Félix: Plagg, would anyone forgive me if truth were to come out about me..?

Plagg: Well not everyone is that forgiving.

Félix: Right...

Plagg: Buuut, time heals wounds. And I’m sure you’ll be forgiven much easily after Hawkmoth is captured. So what’s the problem?

Félix: Marinette... all her friends... Ladybug... would they forgive me too?

Plagg: If they are your friends, they’ll understand. Sure some might get hurt about the truth, but they won’t hold a grudge for too long. Trust me, you’ll be fine when that day comes.

Félix: Heh... thanks Plagg.

[Félix opens his bedroom window, when seeing Ladybug staring]

Félix: Ladybug? What are you doing here?

Marinette (Ladybug): Sorry! Um, I was... a little... distracted? Yeah! Distracted!

[Félix smirks deviously]

Félix: Distracted enough to stare at my window for an hour?

Marinette (Ladybug): How-?

Félix: I wasn’t asleep, and my mirrors can see your reflection.

Marinette (Ladybug): Sorry...

[Félix notices Ladybug upset, and sighs]

Félix: ...Get inside.

Marinette (Ladybug): H-Huh?

Félix: It’s cold outside, and I don’t wanna find out the hero of Paris got a cold because she’s been stalking someone’s window all night. Anyway, make yourself comfortable, while I make you some coffee.

[Félix takes Ladybug inside his room and sits her in his bed and makes coffee from his own coffee maker, gives the coffee to Ladybug as well as a blanket]

Marinette (Ladybug): Thank you...

[Félix sits down]

Félix: This is the first time we faced each other, that wasn’t a Akuma. I don’t think I introduced myself properly, I’m-.

Marinette (Ladybug): Félix Agreste, right? Adrien’s cousin.

[Félix is surprised and a bit confused]

Félix: How do you know that?

[Ladybug realizing her mistake, and stutters a bit]

Marinette (Ladybug): Oh ummm, y-you were at Adrien’s Funeral and made a speech on the news. A-And your parents are pretty famous too so...

Félix: I see...

[Félix drinks from his cup, then looks to Ladybug in concern]

Félix: Tell me what’s wrong. If it’s complicated to explain then I get it, I won’t push you to talk.

Marinette (Ladybug): Félix...

[Ladybug drinks a bit of coffee before taking a breath and looking down to the floor]

Marinette (Ladybug): It’s about Chat Noir.

Félix: What about him?

[Ladybug starts to tear up a bit]

Marinette (Ladybug): I think I hurt his feelings... He hasn’t spoken a word to me in our patrols, since I yelled at him from the last Akuma attack...It’s been bothering me.

[Félix is shocked]

Félix: (That was...when I was in a bad mood from Marinette hanging out with Luka for a week...because she wanted to help with Kitty Section... I didn’t mean to make Ladybug worry...)

[Félix then remembers the argument they had, and is a bit confused now]

Félix: (Wait a sec? Did she think I was mad about her because of that argument about keeping my mouth shut? She knows better than to think her words would hurt me...let alone stop me from doing anything. Still...)

Félix: I’m sure Chat Noir didn’t intend to be quiet around you...Maybe he had something else on his mind?

[Ladybug starts crying]

Marinette (Ladybug): That just makes it worse! If he has a problem, he usually tells me, or be sarcastic about his problems! I know he wants to protect me, but I...I want to protect him too! ...How can I do that if he doesn’t say anything... I just... don’t wanna make the same mistake I did with the first Chat Noir...

[Félix surprised then gets a bit happy, as he stands up and puts his hand to her shoulder, and wipes her tears with the other hand]

Félix: Then talk with him tonight. I know what it’s like to make mistakes...having guilt crawl on my back...wishing things were different. But it’s better to take the step forward and try to be better. The first step is always the hardest, but every other step after will be easy. It’ll be okay, I promise.

[Félix smiles for reassurance and Ladybug smiles back, but is interrupted by muffled voices coming from the first floor]

Félix: You should go before my parents storm in.

Marinette (Ladybug): Yeah, thank you Félix.

[Ladybug gives the cup and blanket back, and walks to the window]

Marinette (Ladybug): You know, with you talking like this, you really sound like a teacher.

Félix: A teacher, huh? That’s new.

Marinette (Ladybug): No really, you’d make a great teacher. Your smart, caring and a good listener. Think about it. Anyway bug-!

Félix: Oh! One question, Ladybug.

Marinette (Ladybug): Hm?

[Félix gives his devious smile again]

Félix: What’s the real reason you were staring at my window out of all places?

Marinette (Ladybug): R-Right! The staring! Ummm... would you believe I stared because I wanted to talk with you but was too nervous to?

[Félix crosses his arms]

Félix: Okay, why me specifically?

[Ladybug blushes a bit]

Marinette (Ladybug): ... You... remind me of Chat Noir.

[Félix now nervous and scared that he starts to stutter a bit]

Félix: Hahaha... R-Really? W-Which one?

[Ladybug looks to Félix and smiles once more]

Marinette (Ladybug): Both.

[Ladybug leaves through the window, leaving Félix a bit dumbfounded]

Félix: What does she mean...by both?

[Plagg comes out of hiding]

Plagg: Who knows? So what are you gonna do now, kid? I for one don’t wanna be out with the emotional baggage again, and I really wanna sleep.

Félix: Well, I did say she has to see Chat Noir tonight, and that’s what we’re going to do. Sleep can wait anyway, Ladybug needs us.

Félix: Let me help you study at my place, Class Rep. I know my way around economics and history.

Marinette: Huh, I’ve never been to your house before, now that I think about it.

Félix: That’s because my parents are kinda...difficult.

Marinette: Oh...

[Sees Marinette’s worried face, then Félix realized what he said]

Félix: Oh! But not like Uncle Gabriel difficult, they’re not like that. They’re like... the opposite of him. They’re just really different.

Marinette: Different how?

Félix: ...You’ll find out. So do you accept?

Marinette: Of course!

Alya: Can me an Nino come too?

Félix: Of course, in fact it might actually be better if you two come as well anyway.

Alya: Then it’s settled, after school, we’re visiting your place to study.

[After School at Félix’s home]

Nino: Dude, does everyone in the Agreste Family have big mansions like this.

Félix: No Nino, the rest of my relatives live in farms.

[Nino realizing Félix’s sarcasm]

[Félix and the group go inside the home, as he takes his friends to the dining hall]

Félix: Anyway, welcome to my home. Make yourself comfortable while I go find my parents.

[Félix leaves and all three friends sit in the dining table chairs, but Alya notices Marinette’s mood change]

Alya: What’s wrong, girl? Sick?

Marinette: I’m just worried...he said his parents are the opposite of Adrien’s dad. I don’t know if that means he’s worse or not, cause he was hesitant when he talked about his parents.

Alya: Come on, how bad can they be?

[Félix’s Mother And Father wall in with Félix]

Félix’s Mother: Look look honey, our little Fé isn’t joking this time!

Félix’s Father: Omg! He actually made friends!

Félix’s Mother: I won the bet!

Félix’s Father: Come on son, introduce us to your friends!

Félix: Father... Mother... please! Behave yourselves!

[Félix sighs]

Félix: Mother. Father. These are my friends from school. I brought them here because we plan to study in my room, so I’d appreciate it if you can keep the excitement to minimum at least for today!

Nino: Whoa...Opposite is right, they’re more laid back and have this happy-go-lucky vibe to them. Are we sure Félix wasn’t adopted or something?

Alya: Nino! That was rude!

Félix’s Mother: That’s okay, we get that a lot!

Félix’s Father: Our son was always the serious one, we even thought at one point he might have been Gabriel’s!

Félix’s Mother: Soooo which one of you is Ms Marinette Dupain Cheng~?

Félix’s Father: Okay, have fun with your friends and your girlfriend!

[Alya And Nino still laughing and Marinette still red and confused as Félix drags them all to his room]

Félix: SHE’S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!!!

Félix’s Mother: I’m so proud of him, he finally made friends and even found a girl he loves.

Félix’s Father: Betting he confesses first before the girl does.

Félix’s Mother: You are definitely gonna lose, we are talking about our adorable son after all.

Félix’s Father: That Marinette girl looks as much of a mess as him, so I doubt it.

Félix’s Mother: Okay then I’ll take up your bet~. Though no matter who confesses first, I hope Félix will be happy with her.

Félix: And your Dupain-Cheng’s friend, Luka? Ms Couffaine’s older brother.

Luka: Yes, if you don’t mind, can we have a chat alone.

[Alya notices Luka signaling her to distact Marinette for a bit, while he talks with Félix in his room]

Luka: Okay lets get to the point, I’m not going to lose to you. Not for a second. I let one Agreste boy break her heart, not letting another break her heart again.

Félix: Hold up, what are you talking about?

Luka: I’m talking about Marinette!

Félix: But she’s-.

Luka: “-Just a friend?” Yeah, I’m not buying that. From what my sister tells me, you’re the nicest around Marinette and frequently hang around her more than her own best friend, Alya, these days.

Félix: Your point?

[Luka glares at Félix]

Luka: Do you love her or not?

[Félix glares back at Luka with a devious grin]

Félix: And what if I do, guitar boy?

Luka: Then that makes us rivals for Marinette.

Félix: That would be true if she had gotten over Adrien by now, but now isn’t the time. Even so, I won’t lose to you when that day comes, so watch your back, guitar boy.

[Marinette and Félix stuck in a elevator, so both are trying to pass the time while waiting for help to come]

Marinette: So... Félix?

Félix: Hm?

Marinette: What do you think of Ladybug?

Félix: She’s okay.

Marinette: Just “okay”?

Félix: Yeah? Why?

Marinette: N-no reason.

Félix: Well since you asked there’s got to be a reason. People don’t just ask questions for no reason.

Marinette: Ummm...A-Adrien! Y-Yeah! Adrien and Chloé are big fans of Ladybug, I was just curious if you were a fan too.

Félix: Well if I were to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of the whole superhero thing. Doesn’t mean I don’t like Ladybug or the other heroes, it’s just not my thing.

Marinette: O-Oh, I get it.

Félix: Since you asked me a question about heroes, I might as well ask you one of my own.

[Félix looks away from Marinette, trying to hide his face]

Félix: What are your thoughts on the new Chat Noir?

Marinette: My thoughts on the new Chat Noir? Well...he’s different. I’ve known the first Chat Noir in several encounters, but the new one... he just seems like a polar opposite kitty hero.

Félix: So...you don’t like him?

Marinette: What? No way! Why would I?

Félix: But you just said-.

Marinette: I said he was a polar opposite kitty hero, didn’t say I didn’t like him. In fact...

[flashbacks to Ladybug and the new Chat Noir’s battles together]

Marinette: I respect him. He’s really trying to help Ladybug by filling in the old Chat Noir’s shoes. Even though people ridicule him for not being like the old Chat Noir, he still tries to fill his duty to protect the city he loves. And isn’t that what a true hero is in the end?

[Félix looks back at Marinette a little bit flustered, but tries to brush it off]

Félix: W-Whatever. I only wanted to know if you liked him or not. I didn’t need a speech, you know.

Marinette: Are you okay, Félix? Your face is a little red.

Félix: It’s just hot in this stupid elevator, that’s all!

Marinette: Guys please-!

Lila: Just admit it, Marinette, you’re the real villain! You’re the one who killed Adrien Agreste, and secretly never loved him!

[Félix walks behind Marinette, with an angered look at Lila]

Félix: You’re such a loud mouth.

Chloé: F-Félix?! What are you doing in this school?

Félix: I’m transferring here and I was told to ask the class representative, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, to tour me around the school, before I come in tomorrow officially.

Lila: You-!

[Félix walks towards Lila]

Félix: You’re Lila Rossi, right? Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t you out “out of Paris” for a big photo shoot for a week with my uncle, Gabriel Agreste? I was told you even had to skip school because of it. Your illnesses must be pretty bad if they make you forget that and make you delusional.

[Félix whispers in Lila’s ear]

Félix: Under Adrien’s requests, I won’t expose you. I still don’t know why you lie, but I won’t fall for it. And I won’t let anyone else get hurt by you.

[glares intensity at Lila with full seriousness]

Félix: Never again.

[Félix grabs Marinette’s hand]

Félix: You’re Dupain-Cheng, right? Tour me around, I haven’t got all day.

Marinette (Ladybug): Stay away from me, I don’t need another Chat Noir. I don’t need anyone’s help, and I most certainly don’t need you!

Félix (Chat Noir): Milady please-.

Marinette (Ladybug): STOP CALL ME THAT! YOU AREN’T HIM! YOU AREN’T MY CHAT! YOU’RE NOT ADRIEN! YOU’LL NEVER BE HIM!!!

[Marinette cries and Félix walks towards her]

Félix (Chat Noir): You’re right, I’m not Adrien Agreste. I can never replace your partner who has been beside you for so long. He’s funny, smart and kindhearted. I’m none of those...not even in real life. He’s a perfect superhero. I can never be him.

[Félix hugs Marinette]

Félix (Chat Noir): You can hate me. You can despise me. You don’t even have to like me.

[Felix hugs Marinette tighter, with a tear falling down his cheek]

Félix (Chat Noir): All I ask is for you to let me fight alongside you to defend the people we care about. Let me protect you and the citizens of Paris, just as he would.
