Edwin Gregory Goldencrest Edwin is part of the local police. He lived in Burnem Town ever since he was a kid but moved into the city when he was 18 to pursue a job as a private detective in a place where plenty happens. His dreams are crushed and he moves back to Burnem to find it completely changed since he was gone. The quiet sleepy town of Burnem where nothin at all happens had changed to a place of chaos and disarray. Where there’s always a mystery a foot. Not being used to this new change, Edwin has become more skittish and more recluse than he normally was. You can say he was a bit of a flake. The new job is hard, but now that he’s finally fulfilling his dream of solving mysteries, nothing can stop him. As long as there’s a cola waiting at the end of the day for him, he’ll bounce right back. Mathias Heartgrace Matt was once nobility you know? But after messing too much with the wrong kinds of people, his daddy cut him off his money and sent him to Burnem town. Finding himself with less money than he’s used to, he’s forced to pull up his sleeves and build a new life for himself, establishing his own bar. He may be narcissistic and cocky, but he’s a natural born swindler. He can manipulate anything out of someone! As long as he doesn’t do something dumb and impulsive along the way... Like steal a vaguely diamond-shaped object, for example. Mathias is also extremely competitive. If his ruthless energy isn’t met, he tends to blow out his rivals. Luckily for Matt, the bar across the street is enough to keep his energy down and mellow him out. Tomi Thompson Tomi is an undercover agent of a secret organization bent on taking down the crime syndicate, Pop-C Sodas. Activity in soda related crimes has rose significantly around Burnem town and so has the “strange activities”. So it’s Tomi’s job to figure exactly what’s going on, report and not to get discovered.... He gets discovered. Now to keep them to not say a word, he helps out Edwin and Matthias with their shenanigans. Tomi acts bitter, sarcastic, and mean towards people but would beat anyone who messes with those he cares about. He always goes with his gut feeling about someone, and doesn’t stop to catch them till proven otherwise. Theodore Lorence (Tord) Theodore is a pilot for an organization called the Crimson March. He recently crashed his plane near by Burnem Town. He has an extremely important package to deliver, but has been delayed due to him being followed by someone else. Stuck in town with no escape, he becomes skittish, snappy and paranoid, trying to throw together something to get his plane to work again, only to find that he’s never carried anything important. He was a decoy and was to be disposed of once his job was done. He stays in Burnem. Over time, he “adjusts” to civilized society. He doesn’t like Tomi and Matthias is annoying to him so really he just likes Edwin. He’s a bit eccentric in a way and has wild ideals in people and society. His mannerisms are strained and mechanical but still sporadic like an animatronic with a bunch of bugs. He tries to get out of it. He really likes pickles.
