the last 2 months have been so brutal. I love my granny more than life itself. we know we’re on borrowed time but knowing that the time is coming sooner than you thought is so painful. So sad.

I’m so thankful for the life I’ve had with her. my sweet granny, my girl. No matter how much time is left, I want her to experience so much love, peace, and contentment. She has helped so many people in her lifetime without hesitation.

I strive to be even just a piece of the woman that she is.

missing the west coast

Philly is really a city that you can only fully enjoy with others. Restaurants, going out, or being inner-connected with locals. Especially as someone in their late 20s who isn’t from here or has any family near. I’ve been here for 10 years and still feel as if I want to move every damn day. It’s not like New York. My best friends moving to 2 different time zones, no partner, living alone in this city is really doing a number on me. I can hobby myself to death but I don’t think it will ever feel like home without the people I love here in it.
