So todays catch wasn't plentiful... But these are the first blue crabs in 15yrs that we didn't have to buy... I will give 3hrs of fishing/crabbing any day over going to an overpriced seafood restaurant. The peace and connecting to mother ocean is sometimes more enjoyable than anything else... Our weekend in Sierra Vista, AZ was awesome as we expected. It was a time to catch up with old Battles, drink whiskey and tell stories. As we grow older time is consumed by life. Make it a priority to keep those bonds. To see a city post mil was definitely different. Could spot the trainees like a zebra among leopards. Now we continue our journey east to new unseen territories. The moon didn't come out like I wanted but thought this was a cool pic. The lights actually run through the whole house, so it's good to see our black out is working.

So, let's just say the last 2 weeks have been an up and down time! There have tears and laughs. We made our way to Cali for some family time before heading east. Ups: We've got some great wood work going on! Can't wait to post a full room photo and our new wall. Downs: After parked for 18Days, our battery and starter died on us. Ups:We cut our cord to Vegas. We love that city. It's a special place as we met there. It's more than a strip and made some great friends. Downs: We waited for roadside assistance for 3 days. The avg tow quote was $1700.00. Could not risk "BAllState" not reimbursing us. New hobby alert: So a few days ago while walking my Cheeks. I came across the branch of a Juniper tree.

Recently been having ideas of wood carving work, so bought a rotary tool.

This incense holder is the first thing I've done. It feels good to see what your hands can create. It's just a start but I have so much inside, that this feels like a great outlet!

Once I get a little better in my engraving I hope to raffle some of these holders off. So stay tuned and set those notification, so you don't miss out!

Peace Patience and Positivity have become my mantra for over coming tough situations where my inner Hulk wants to come out. Feels like the only ammo needed to defeat those times!

Good Morning Nomads hope your day and travels are as awesome as you want them to be!

Just taking in some natural beauty and Star Trek TNG this morning... Today I return to some work on the bus. Blackout some more windows and wall insulation over them. We are impatiently waiting the arrival of our solar. Amazon seems to come slower when you really want what you ordered. Our neighbor is a Jamaican/English lady. No lie it was such a joy to meet another #blacknomad . Very often at many of the locations we visit there are very few, if any POC. Nadia has been super awesome as a neighbor. Offering to back me into my spot since sunflower went to the office, ice and water and Inviting us hiking. We didn't wake up early enough lol. Any whoo... Don't be shy with your neighbors, you may miss out on some cool stuff. Make your day as amazing as you want... It's yours and you can do what you please with it... But overall enjoy it!

It's so weird to not see Snocone behind Lady! But we have reached a new chapter in our journey and it feels freeing. We didn't want to travel with the trailer but it aloud us to get a significant part done with out rush and rent. All the stress aside it was definitely worth it to get our journey off on the right foot. We have an umbilical cord to Vegas but now can stretch out wings and fly like the mighty Peacock!
