Low Activity

( I’m sorry I vanished for a while there - the world’s been getting pretty stressful with work, mostly, at the moment. My activity was always going drop now that we’re going into winter as it’s when we’re busiest at work but I’ve now got that plus trying to balance parents and future in-laws with wedding planning, which is genuinely at least as stressful as people make it sound, if not 10 times more. I am still around and planning on trying to be more active again soon but it still won’t be as much as it has been for the next few months - unless I get a new job, which is actually highly likely and would make me very happy. )

( tl;dr - I’ve not been here, I’ll be around more soon but still not loads, the world is stress, weddings are hard, my job sucks. )

No but Nat is SO CONSTANTLY READY to just fuck herself up to help people like all the time. She’s fucking trapped with an unstable Hulk and she waves off the people trying to come in and help her. She’s getting chased by the Winter Soldier and she willingly fucking runs into the middle of the street yelling at people to get out of the way specifically to keep them safe when it would be much more tactically sound to take advantage of that chaos. Pierce electrocutes several people to death in front of her and is threatening to do the same and she just SETS THE FUCKING THING OFF so he won’t get away. She willingly gets herself captured by Ultron so that her team can get Vision away from him. And then she’s just like “Yeah sure I’ll die here on this giant floating island if it keeps people safe whatever” and she is SO FUCKING SELFLESS ALL THE TIME. IN HER MIND SHE IS SO UNIMPORTANT, BUT SHE’S WRONG SHE IS SO WRONG SHE IS THE FUCKING DEFINITION OF A SUPERHERO NO MATTER WHAT SHE THINKS.

     Natasha took the poke good-naturedly, rubbing the spot as if it had hurt, but kissed Nat’s nose anyway.

     “Daddy does look after me,” the redhead admitted with a grin. “Even if he’s a dum-dum sometimes.” And then in a stage whisper. “Don’t tell him I said that! He’ll grouch at me for a week. You can tell your Mommy though, she’ll probably laugh.”

     Nat giggled lightly at the kiss, developing into full-blown laugher at what Natasha said. “He’s not a dum-dum all the time.” She attempted to defend her Daddy but was still laughing. She couldn’t imagine him being grumpy with Auntie Nat, not really at least, but he’d definitely moan at her.

     She lay her head on Natasha’s shoulder, considerably more relaxed than she had been just a few minutes before. “I’m glad that you have Daddy there to look after you though.”
