Sorry I’m late, I was disassociating in front of a mirror for 20 minutes more than expected
Sempre detto. 💁🏽♀️
Qual’ é il tuo? @clockgirl94 🌸
prossimo rewatch : Brooklyn 99
Seeing this meme reminded me of a literal core memory I unlocked this month.
I recently started working at a school, so I interact with parents all the time. The other day, a dad (who I don't know, though I went to school with his partner) randomly hits me with: "Aren't you a bit too old to not have kids? I mean, you're a teacher, you should have some of your own, don't you think?"
I didn't say a word. I just looked at the clock on the wall. There were a few seconds left until the exact end of my shift. I waited for the clock to tick to the 60th second. I clocked out. Then I took a deep breath, looked him dead in the eye, and said: "And don't you think you're a bit too young to already have a beer belly?"
Other moms started giggling, the kid said he'd tell his mom, and I just grabbed my bag and walked out like a proud, slightly embarrassed boss.
Plot twist: the next day his partner told me he came home furious and wanted to file a complaint, but she stopped him. Too bad for him, I was already off the clock anyway! 😉
Mind your own business, people.
