how was the setlist? any songs you think they should have played?

It wasn't the best show I've been to this year but it was pretty awesome. The set list drew a lot from the first two records (like a lot from their early stuff, to my surprise) and they played pretty much all their hits. However, they left out too many good songs from III, which is somehow understandable since this record is more melodic and quiet than anything they've done in the past, so in a word, not really suitable to be played for a bunch of dark clothed kids on a Saturday night. Overall, I think the setlist was really good if you intended to go dance the shit out of yourself (is this even an expression ? Anyway, you get the idea). As I was really tired I didn't go with that intention but I ended up having side stitches from all the jumping, so I suppose it was an effective set !

Saw Spock hanging around the BNF this afternoon. In other sci-fi related stuff, some 6 year old kid at Mc Donalds was telling his grand ma - who clearly wasn't giving a single fuck - all about Star Wars and literally spoiled the whole story for me. Jesus, Darth Vader's story is so sad.
