Australian duo Client Liaison knows how to do epic, lustrous 80’s synthpop music well. So, it’s quite a surprise that they’ve decided to take on Kimbra’s recent single 90s Music to re-work into their own splendorous rendition. If you’ve wondered what 90s Music would sound like in the 80’s, here’s the answer for you, and it’s quite sumptuous and sleek. In fact, they’ve completely re-worked most of the song, even the lyrics, so that all the 90s name ticks are now 80s ones. Wouldn’t it be interesting if the song were morphed to fit multiple decades other than 80s and 90s?

People get used to music by hearing it repetitively. You play it three times, so by the end of the movie they will get it. And it was a hit, which was really fun for me — to make a hit of a band, that I gave a platform to a band that didn’t have one before. - John Hughes
