I know this is something you probably get asked a lot and/or don’t like getting asked, but is ‘This can only end poorly’ dead in the water? Or are you just taking a break?

No worries--I appreciate that you liked the story so much that you wanted to check in on it.

In any case, it's on haitus for a bit because I got my first Real Job and on top of the freelance work I already do, I'm clocking in like 12 hours a day--so learning how to manage my time so that I can still write "for fun" has been a challenge.

That said, I've been writing down words here and there for chapter three, and the story as a whole is still a project I'm very attached to. So, TLDR, story hasn't been shelved, but expect slightly longer breaks between updates until I catch my stride again.

ooooooh really good question!

marcy is my fav, so i love every ship that she's in. ofc sashannarcy absolutely waters my crops and clears my skin.

i think personally i like marcanne the most because the best friends to lovers makes me go feral.

sasharcy has a LOT of really really good story potential, though. even though marcanne has their problems with communication, i think it feels more natural to explore complex relationship dynamics and darker overarching themes with sasharcy.
