I've just watched this nice interview with Jann and I wanted to summarize it for everyone:
Jann submitted his song to Eurovision, because fans asked him to (he didn't have Eurovision in mind when he released it)
the song is about show business (he wrote it as he entered it)
he's happy to be fan favorite, because he creates music for other people's enjoyment and if they like it, it's good!
he doesn't want to judge his rivals in the competition, because they all are there to be judged, not to judge others, he just said they're cool
his performance details are a secret, but he has something exciting prepared, there might be something similar to what we saw in the music video
people keep comparing him to Måneskin, but he says his music is completely different, but if it means the music quality is as good as theirs then it's a compliment
his family is musical in general, they sang and performed at theatre, he can't imagine doing anything else than creating music
popular music is what he's always wanted to do, not the classical music (despite his classical music background)
he didn't graduate from musical school in Garwolin (Poland), because he moved to Northern Ireland with his parents and he went to school there when he was 16, he said the musical education there is very good
he also studied in London, but came back to Poland during the pandemic and started working with Fonobo (his current label)
his mom watches every reaction video to his song on youtube
he feels secure about being criticized, because he can tell what's constructive criticism and what's just someone's opinion
