Can we please just address that fact that whether you take the story of Ragnarok as fact/something that really happened or not, there is a lesson in the story. Stop just looking at the surface of the story, look at all the details. Look at the stories that lead up to Ragnarok.

Ragnarok was a story of revelution. The gods had betrayed those they viewed as lesser, and those who they betrayed revolted. Ragnarok wasn’t the end of the gods either, but rather the game over screen before hitting the restart button. It was a necessary action to throwing out the old ways, the old system, and allowing a new way a life to come. It was those who had been unfairly treated finally standing up for themselves it one grand take down of the old ways.

We need to look at this story and learn from it all, we need to stop ignoring the lessons within. And we definitely need to stop treating the stories of the gods as black and white, good and bad, it’s more complex than that.
