thinking about Eliot having beef with the psychics and calling them losers in the first episode, Eliot who has a bulletproof spell he can give to Quentin to keep the specialist from reading his mind, Eliot who only Margo knows is from Indiana and only because he had to tell her to pass the trials - and Eliot telling Quentin, who he's only known for a few weeks, about Logan Kinnear because he thinks it might make Quentin feel better.
Ooh tags from @asofterhibou on that post about Penny & Quentin:
Which is v interesting to ponder because Quentin & Penny have similar flaws in ways that clash, and Quentin & Eliot have similar flaws in ways that harmonize, but Eliot & Penny are mostly able to peacefully coexist. So it seems like it's as much about the ways they view their own failings as it is the flaws themselves - Eliot is able to treat Quentin's self-loathing with a gentleness he can't give himself, and therefore Quentin is able to do the same towards him, but Penny feels it's his own responsibility to fix things and can't stand Quentin for making it everyone else's problem, whereas Eliot also keeps it to himself. Hmmmmm
big brain ships
Turns out Penny was a nerd all along. I'm not shocked, just livid.
Julia's happiest memory!
Plot twist is not a big enough phrase.
The World in the Walls, entirely told in Taylor Swift songs.
