I wish I could really capture that imploring look of concern on Eliot's face, like his whole self is tenderly pleading, Please be all right, Q. But I did add some hearts to the sofa, that El is sending Q's way.

The Magicians is my Harry Potter because I saw it and was so in love to think I would be in Brakebills

except I'm more realistic and the moment I had to retake a grade in high school I was like "yeah no I'm not smart enough to go to Brakebills" and that hurted a little

CHARACTER: Henry Fogg

PLAYED BY: Rick Worthy

SHOW: The Magicians (2015-2020)

Henry Fogg is functioning alcoholic, he is pragmatic, sardonic, a master magician and Dean at Brakebills University. His dedication to Brakebills and the students within is to be admired. He has a dry wit and can be very cynical at times, clashing with his students while still maintaining respect for them. He is stylish, looking so dapper in his well tailored suits.

Played brilliantly by Rick Worthy, who I will always say has the most beautiful sounding voice, Dean Henry Fogg is just as important to the story as his students.

I watched 'The Magicians' a couple of months ago and I'm only sad I didn't watch it sooner.

There are so many things I love about this show. The world building and atmosphere are so cool and unique. When watching I found myself wanting to escape into Fillory alongside them.

What I appreciated about this show is that wasn't afraid to go into some darker themes and twist the mystical elements into something much more horrifying.

* MILD SPOILERS*

Characters dynamics and relationships are the heart of any show, and other than the beautiful world created, that is what this show nails. I still think about episode 5 of season 3, 'A Life In The Day ', where Quentin and Eliot grow old together in their pursuit of creating the beauty of the world out of mosaic. Just the simplicity of the meaning, a life alongside another is what makes life beautiful.

Or the scene where Margot hallucinates Eliot singing 'Don't Get Me Wrong' by the Pretenders. I loved their friendship so much.

I think this is why the last season was lacking, because character dynamics were off and the heart was gone.

Overall I still loved this show so much !!! And I love you Hale Appleman 💜💜💜💜
