“What’s up? The name’s Rosa! … Uuuh, you look kinda familiar? Have I seen you on TV at some point? Or the internet? Are you famous or anything—?”
He blinks a few times as he looks around the area, trying to make sure he's not crazy because he could have sworn someone was talking to him, and-- Oh, there she was. When Green turns around enough to face the girl, he folds his arms over his chest, squinting at her as he gives her a good once over.
The cool act quickly fades, though, as soon as the gym leader realizes he recognizes her. He closes his eyes, brings up one of his hands to wave her words off, and an almost arrogant smirk finds it way onto his face.
"Yeah, you don't say? Well, maybe that's because you're right, I am famous! As the best trainer in Kanto, that is--" Or, well, that's how he began, but guilt quickly sunk into him and he pauses. "Okay, second best." He doesn't bother correcting himself to say that he's a third because, well, technically that other twerp isn't even from Kanto.
"Name's Green. Gym leader of Viridian City. As for you, well, I've never seen ya. Do you have a name, or what?" Opening one eye to look at her again, he relaxes his stance, even going so far as to fall back into a slight slouch.
