These new residents come in, and no one really likes them, but when April flunks and people talk the same way about her as they did when George became the official 007, something doesn’t sit right with Izzie. So when April returns (and Izzie never leaves), Izzie keeps getting reminded of George through April. She’s kind, tender, anxious, and people don’t see her true potential. It reminds Izzie of George so she lingers a bit, tries to get to know her more. Izzie realizes she’s not George, but knowing there are still people in the world that have the same big heart he did makes her feel less alone, and she feels like a part of him lives on.

Izzie protects April and they just kind of click, ya know? April is kind and understands Izzie. Izzie is always on April’s side and tries to raise her self esteem. They just. Fit.
