To unlock the secret room you need to light up these 8 symbols on the side, then the mechanism can be used. These symbols will light up when you find and interact with the gravestone looking object(ancient carvings).

You could kill the ruin guards if you want but you’ll need to kill them again after you do the puzzle, so I would do the puzzle first. Activate mechanism > follow Seelie pattern > kill guards > activate fire pillars > go under

Need to unlock Domain. To do so the pillar on top of it needs to go into the air. If for some reason yours isn’t. 1. You need to melt the ice pillars using the quartz. The quartz will freeze itself when you use it on the ice pillars. 3 total, 1 per ice pillar. 2. After unfreezing the Ice pillars, there will be sigils on those pillars in place of the ice, you need to activate all 3.

After draining the water, you need to melt the ice covering the ancient carving.
