so sorry can’t stop thinking about this so i’m making it everyone else’s problem too…

being (slightly pre) bad era michael’s best friend and his favorite person to write music with.

it’s the kind of friendship where the lines of physical intimacy blur. when the two of you watch movies you cuddle mindlessly. most nights you sleepover in his bed and he’ll even lean over and kiss your neck.

it’s just easier to (basically) live together, share clothes and food so you have enough time to help him write the new album.

sometimes… he kisses more than your neck. sometimes the most convenient thing to do is shower together. sometimes you go on an unsuccessful date and have no issues coming home, telling him about it, and letting him finish the job.

but you don’t talk about it. the friendship and work partnership is too valuable to put at risk. so after an all-nighter writing in the studio, as the sun is rising, the two of you slink into his bed, draw the blackout curtains, and silently fall into each other.

in the morning, he’ll be inspired to write lyrics about it, and you’ll co-produce the song, knowing that the sensual words are about you, but not daring to ever mention it.
