Heyyyy I’ve got a request for a romantic fluff fic with Colby Brock!😝

Can you write something where it’s like 2am and the reader is in her apartment studying for her college finals. She’s at her desk listening to like classical music or smth while she studies so she doesn’t hear when Colby unlocks her door and comes inside. (The reader gave Colby his own key recently and he wanted to take advantage of it.) He walks up to her and surprises her by saying, “What are you still doing up?” And the readers like, “I think the better question is what are you doing in my apartment?” All he replies is, “I missed you.” The reader explains what she’s studying for her finals, and Colby just stands behind her rubbing her neck and shoulders. He then tries to convince her to take a break and go to bed with him, but she’s like very adamant on studying because she’s worried about one of her finals. Once he finally convinces her to go to bed, they crawl into bed together and the reader asks, “So what are you actually doing here?” And Colby’s like, “I couldn’t fall asleep and you were on my mind so I came over. I sleep better with you.” And then they like cuddle and fall asleep together.

You were in your quiet apartment the only sound was the leakage from your headphones. You had turned on your study playlist so you would stay locked in still having it a little loud to tune out the quiet life outside the window beside you. You had an not-too important test coming up so you decided to study instead of laying in bed braintooting for hours. Your phone lit up the display a picture of you and Colby together at a party, your display showing “Colby sent you a tiktok” and your clock reading 2:00 am. You yawned a bit at the time, returning your head back to your textbook.

Little did you know Colby, sitting at a red light, drumming his fingers to the beat of his music, it was also blasting. He took off to your apartment lot parking quickly. He almost left his keys in, car still on before getting out to make his way to your door. Knocking, waiting, then deciding to let himself in with a whisper of your name is to the soft warm light of your apartment. A large lamp is lighting up your living room.

He makes his way to your door cracking it while looking at your bed expecting your frame under the covers. When the bed was empty, he opened the door wider to see you perched at your desk for who knows how long. “What are you doing awake?” he asked. You jumped barely hearing him over the sound of your music. Your eyes widen as you take him in being there out of the blue “I think the better question is what are you doing coming into my apartment this late?” You question.

He walkes his way over to you turning you back towards your desk. He massages your shoulders as you let out a light groan. “I missed you” he said softly puttig his head into the crook pf your neck. “ i missed you too”you said back “im just up studying for finals” you said. “How ling have you been at it?” You thought about your answer for a second did you want to tell him the embarrassingly long amount of time you have sat here and stared or did it not matter?” Around 3-4 hours” he winced “yeah i think its time for a break” he said starting at your shoulders again. “Noooo, this subject is hard and i beed to get a better grade so my percentage goes back up”

“Babe, youve been here for long enough. Plus sitting here getting no sleep over this will only make it worse, i doubt youll remember anything exept how tired you were and feel during the test.” He protestes. You sigh, i mean i giess hes right being sleep deprived will only amke it harder to got to class on time; nevertheless take the test. You slowly get up and head to your bed him trailing behind you

You change into the comfy pajamas you layed put eirler slipping into bed. You scootch closer to colby laying your head onto him, his arm holding yours. he was aleays flawlessly comfortable, not that you were biased or anything. “Why are you here anyways, no offence” he chuckled a little his hand drawing cirles on your arm “i couldnt sleep and you were on my mind. I also sleep so much better with you in my arms”

You smile and look down, he always magically knew what to say to make you swoon, you gave him a good peck on the cheek with a small goodnight as he kissed you on your head as you got comfy drifting by off into his chest with the comfort of his heartbeat.
