Fluid Framework and Scientific Paper
I recently got an assignment at school to come up with a topic to write a scientific paper on. The nice thing was that I had the option of actually selecting the topic on my own, as long as it had something to do with, well, something scientific. In my case I came up with the idea to get into the field of fluid simulations due to the fact that I had always enjoyed looking at things like Nvidia Physx’s fluidsystems. The paper didn’t really have to be based on rock solid evidence and actual implementations or uses of the topic at hand. However, since I had the resources I bundled up the paper with a real-time simulation that I created in LÖVE2D. I barely did any research at this point and just used my previous knowledge from games and general programming to come up with a way of creating a real-time simulation. It took some trial and error to get to the final result but in the end I was quite satisfied with what I had created since I did not use any external references.

Hey everyone! It’s been sometime since we don’t update our website with some news, right? Well, it’s about time! We participated in this year’s edition of the Global Game Jam and we wanted to share a bit of this year’s experience! Our entry for GGJ’s 2014 is called: The Triad Trial. 1)...

Reader-Driven Adventure Musings
Here, I will ramble about the “reader-driven webcomic” without specific aim or utility. Join me, won’t you?
First off, we are in dire need of a name better than “reader-driven webcomic.” Some candidates are:
Collective Game —1d4chan Wiki
Webcomic Game —Bandit’s Quest
Interactive Comic —TVTropes
Largely Reader-Driven Mock Games —MSPaint Adventures
Webcomic/Adventure Game Hybrid —Create.swf Adventures
Community-Dictated Comic Book Role Playing Game —What Do You Do.net
An 8-bit video game, a collaborative campfire story, and a crappy internet cartoon all rolled up into one incomprehensible mess —Lunar Hill

re: ‘Robinson Crusoe’ read by Alessandro Cima
hi there,
I’m an open source javascript developer working as part of wearetheplaymakers.com co-operative under free GPLv30 licence. i would like to prepare a prototype of an interactive story and use some of the recordings from your portfolio.
the prototype as well as potential game/story if taken on for development by wearetheplaymakers.com would be published under the same free licence and eventually would be available to download free of any charges etc while the source code would be available to view, download and improve in a public github repository.
I would like to know what is the situation with the licensing of your recordings and whether i could use them without infringing on your or anyone else’s copyrights as per the disclaimer on your website:
All content copyright © 2015 by Candlelight Stories, Inc. except where individual authors, artists, filmmakers, or contributors own copyrights to their material.
the recordings i would be interested in using are all part of ‘Robinson Crusoe’ read by Alessandro Cima whom i would be more than happy to contact directly asking for his permission and to whom i would like to thank for his remarkable and absolutely awesome narration of already great text.

AKA: You can soon help itch.io pay its bills
Since October 2013, itch.io has let developers sell their content without taking any of the money. It was originally disabled for the Ludum Dare October Challenge, which challenges people to build a game, take it to market, and sell it.
