Fourteen years ago, British photographer Mark Power went to shoot panel houses, garages, and unkempt beaches of the country that just entered the European Union.
OPEN CALL for photographs of a Polish man-altered landscape after the fall of the Iron Curtain for an EXHIBITION presenting 30 years of Nowa Topografia!!!
We are greatly inspired by our post below and decided to announce the open call for photographs taken in Poland before it joined the European Union in 2004 but after the fall of the Iron Curtain in ca.1990. The exhibition will take place in Poland and then it will travel to Berlin. If you are interested in participating please share links to your photos by either sending it to our Facebook or Tumblr messenger or adding it to Nowa Topografia group on Flickr.
So now, go and dig out your first digital images or forgotten film rolls, scan them and send them to us! You are also welcome to share your photos taken after 2004. The most interesting works will be selected for the exhibition of a photographic survey representing the 30 years of changes to the Polish landscape.
