Update:

Let me take the time to apologize to you all. I've been going through a lot this year: losing my job, going homeless, car breaking down, almost losing my boyfriend to depression, almost losing myself to depression.. it's all been very stressful and when shit hit rock bottom I was ready to quut everything.

I announced that I was quitting art indefinitely because: firstly; I have not been happy with any of my work for the last few years. I've not invested any time in improving my skills so my work kas not improved at all - and my abilities are not where they should be.

Secondly; I can only produce good work when I am in a positive mindset. With what all has been going on, it's been difficult to make good art or even motivate myself to do it in the first place.

So, I think I am just going to go on a long hiatus. When things start to improve, I will start doing art again and taking commissions again as well. My apologies again to you all who follow me and enjoy my work. Hopefully things will get better soon. Thank you.

Commission Updates

Hello everyone.

I wanted to make this post for the people who commissioned me as of the last few weeks. First I’d like to apologize fr how long it has been. I had been living with my older brother since February, and things have not been going very well these last few months (mainly due to major money troubles). As of this week, he and his fiancee decided it was time for me to leave... so I’ve been figuring out what my living situation is going to be. 

Luckily for me,  I have some good friends in the city that are letting me move in with them until I get myself back together. All of this happened a day before my birthday... but thankfully, those same friends made sure it was going to be a good one and helped me forget about how bad things were - not to mention they made sure I wasn’t sleeping in my car for my birthday. 

So, these issues are the reasons why the commissions have been so late and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. I promise, once I get settled in, I will get your artwork to you as soon as possible. Please be patient with me - that would mean the world to me. I’ve not forgotten about any of you. Trust me! </3

Tips on getting motivation back?

MOTIVATION IS A MYTH AND WILL NOT GET YOU WHERE YOU WANT TO BE.

Practice discipline and dedication. Know what you want and be willing to put in the work, even if you hate it.

Relying on motivation will leave your ass on the couch watching Netflix for 5 hours because you “don’t feel like studying/exercising/working” but dedication will tell you “bitch, get it together and get going!”
