Lex approaches the melee before him: His three henchmen beating & tormenting Superman, now vulnerable due to the Kryptonite embedded in the ground. Lex approaches Superman from behind holding a shard of Kryptonite. Lex picks up the weakened superhero and plunges the green shiv into his enemy’s back, eliciting shrieks of pain from Superman.

The former Man of Steel stumbles to his feet near the edge of a cliff, then loses consciousness, falling backwards into the abyss … Will Superman survive?
