What is your most unpopular Arrow opinion?

I can’t guarantee that this is my MOST unpopular Arrow opinion - you’re talking to the girl who shipped Thea Queen with half of Starling City - but I think maybe the most timely unpopular opinion I have is…
I don’t want Felicity Smoak to be injured/mortally wounded/nearly die.
There are two reasons for this.
1. I don’t want to see her relegated to a hospital bed or confined to a wheelchair/stuck at home/etc. for any length of time. While I understand in theory it sounds darkly romantic to see Oliver and her other loved ones weeping by her nearly-dead form, these are all storylines of people reacting *to* her, not interacting *with* her. Emily Bett is a fantastic actress, and dying in someone’s arms or lying in a hospital bed is not a challenging arc. Being impaired for episodes to come while on the road to recovery could easily get tedious at best.
2. I don’t want to see this arc because it flies in the face of what I *do* want to see for her: a fighting arc. I want to see Felicity Smoak have a storyline where she gets to use her physical and mental powers to defeat someone. I want her to have her own villain or nemesis (she was given one on the Flash, but not a full one on Arrow, come on) and have her destroy him. I *ABSOLUTELY* am fine with seeing Felicity in danger. Have her go undercover, have weapons of all kind aimed at her head, have her kidnapped or work as a double agent, put her in every kind of physical fight (she’s got the strongest female body on that show, she can kick ass, show it). Have her fight super-villains, hack while undercover, manipulate great minds, be in mortal danger, slay people while terrified, do fantastic stunts, save others and also need saving, etc.
tl;dr: Put Felicity Smoak in danger, not in a hospital bed.
Again, I get the appeal of the various tropes associated with half your ship being hurt, and god knows I love a good trope. But for *this* character in *this* context, more life and living is what I want to see from her and what I will spend my time asking for. I’m willing to do without a few episodes of Oliver holding her hand at her bedside, if instead I can get them swinging from burning buildings or mountains in epic escape stunts, and going home after a quick shirtless stitch-up and putting their bed to good use. ;)
I’ll get all the hospital bed-side scenes I need when she’s in labor with baby Thomas John “TJ” Queen.
