Healing Scars || Nuklyn
Kaitlyn squeezed her eyes shut and held onto Nuka cheek-to-cheek, trying her hardest not to shriek when the door slapped against the frame. Even every moment was ecstatic, the fact that Kaitlyn was moving across the room in her boyfriend’s arms. “It’s always about you,” Kaitlyn complained, but she tucked her legs under her as he pulled them down onto the sofa, and continued to cover his face with kisses.
“Okay, now explain to me why you didn’t tell me you were visiting,” Kaitlyn pouted. “Somehow I’d think you’d tell me this when we talk every day.”
"Isn't it?" Nuka replied, keeping his arms tight around his girlfriend's waist. He even winked when Kaitlyn raised her eyebrows. It was a habit he had almost completely forgotten about, since there had been no one to wink at in the military school. The rush of ecstasy was still flowing through him, like taking a drag of a cigarette after going weeks without. Only better. Better, because being with Kaitlyn was sinless. He knew every minute he spent with her that it was meant to be that way.
"I wanted to surprise you," Nuka explained, not completely a lie. He had pulled this together at the very last minute, so it wasn't like he would have been able to tell her anyway. He wanted to be there on Valentine's day, but there were no flights available until the 15th. Too many girlfriends to surprise, he guessed. "But I'm back. For good. I convinced my parents. I can be here with you, all the time."
