Why is Emily scared of you?

Some find my true nature to be rather frightening, and for some reason he is one of the only creatures not of my own kin able to see the parts that spill from this weaker body I inhabit. The child is familiar with the body, but not myself, and it would seem it is uncomfortable for him to see this body puppeteered by anyone but the original inhabitants. He confirmed watching from a distance also frightened him, but that has been noted and corrected. Beyond that, I see no reason for him to be afraid, these are minor concerns at best.

Intentional design. Only those born of the void or with some types of true seeing can typically see what leaks from mortal bodies unable to contain my being. It can be difficult to comprehend, so I hide myself for their own sanity. As with the others, I should appear to you only as Void the Jester, and yet...

If I knew why you did, I could correct it. As far as I can tell, you are not tied to the void, you do not have any special form of sight beyond standard capabilities, and thus you should not see me. This is why I must observe you. Perhaps when the void of your world has been fully seized and incorporated, I will find your connection to it.

Hello. I prefer the dark, both aesthetically and in the sense that it ensures I am not meddled with by photons. That being said, some light every once in a while is certainly not a bad thing.

Mm. Very well, though I will be truncating this, so as not to get in the way.

As an expanse below the Bedrock, this is simple. I have existed since the concept of emptiness, surrounding the Simulacrum, and taking up spaces which would otherwise contain Nothing. I can see other worlds as well, at least one of which a few of you would self-centeredly consider your 'real world' which the Simulacrum has stolen you from. As the Forest, this is a direct result of the Simulacrum. It steals pieces of myself for use in your games. I pray it does not take something valuable to me, but that is a conversation for another time. The manifestation you likely associate with me is recent. I have had little need to speak directly with other individuals until very recently. I do hope you like it.

Hello. This is a difficult question to answer. Are you referring to the expanse beneath the layer of Bedrock, the Red Forest of Devoidless, or my current manifestation? I have answers for all three.

Ah. I believe you are referring to Void the Jester. I have no relation. We are creatures of similar substance, similar origin, yet that is where our relation ends. Hm. Apologies, it is difficult to convey to someone who is not of our nature. I am from these worlds. I am manifest of the Void which surrounds the Simulacrum. Void the Jester, to my knowledge, is not. If Void the Jester has a nickname they as well prefer, you may address me as Null to avoid confusion. To reiterate: I exist below the Bedrock. I am a manifestation of Devoidless. I am unrelated to the Jester in all but substance.
