Why is Emily scared of you?
Some find my true nature to be rather frightening, and for some reason he is one of the only creatures not of my own kin able to see the parts that spill from this weaker body I inhabit. The child is familiar with the body, but not myself, and it would seem it is uncomfortable for him to see this body puppeteered by anyone but the original inhabitants. He confirmed watching from a distance also frightened him, but that has been noted and corrected. Beyond that, I see no reason for him to be afraid, these are minor concerns at best.

the balcony was hard compared to the soft warmth of the rabbit next to lance, their fingers slightly touching sending a warmth against eachothers spines. they were watching the sun set; they had started this monotonous routine a few weeks ago, starting it so they had something to watch while the time paused between the weeks. "i-" the rabbit stopped before stopping, pulling his hands back and awkwardly fidgeting with the fur between his fingers. "what's up?" lance turned, slightly tilting his head at the former "i thought of something- but it's kind of cheesy. i- just forget about it" lances' gaze unwavered on the rabbit "i wouldn't judge you, you know that right?" the rabbit looked away and the sound of wind is the only thing that went through their ears before the world closed.
will paced back and forth on the balcony, lance far too many moments late to their preplanned hangout. "i- fuck.. did i do something wrong?" the sound of footsteps made the rabbits ear twitch, turning around quickly to greet lance. "hey, sorry i am late markowski was holding me up" he said with a slight eyeroll, causing will to laugh in turn. "don't worry about it" will smiled slightly at lance. they both got into position; sitting next to eachother staring at the sun as it sets, albeit later than it normally is. "i was going to say- being here with you everytime having a planned time to hang out with you-… it's been the most fun i've had in a while" lance was flustered by this and pulled away a bit the tips of his ears reddening, he was silently cursing himself for his embarassment being so obvious. "i like hanging out with you too man" was all he could muster up in response. they both kicked their feet back and forth next to eachother before it ended, their hands getting closer and closer until it was prevented by the worlds close.
lance came earlier, trying his best to savor wills company their time together being so limited. will was startled, he wasn't prepared and he quickly finished up the part of his home he was working on to greet lance. "hi lance- err- you're rather early aren't you? i mean- i can't complain" lance was embarrassed by the pointing out of the timing of his arrival "i wanted to talk with you. before the world takes away the moments we share, can we talk?" will was nervous at this question "yeah- err- about what?" lance sat down on the edge of the balcony and the rabbit followed suit. "i was wondering if you wanted to spend more time together? i really like hanging out with you, i feel like we never hang out except these meetings. i don't know, i just really enjoy your presence" will flinched slightly in shock "i- err- i- didn't realize you.. i-... yeah of course.. i- like hanging out with you too man." lance stared at the rabbit for a moment, wills eyes anxiously darting between him and the reflective surface of the water below. "i hope one day, you and i can get out of here. i really like you, you know?" those words bounced back and forth in wills minds before he could muster up a response "i- i like you as well." and then it was silence until it stopped again, as it always does. the end always comes never changing for anyone, not even these two.
