So I guess this is good bye. I just logged in to post that. I canāt deal with the divide of the Fandom. Or even just trying to be a middle man and getting ignored like I donāt fucking exist. I canāt do it.
I loved the shit out of this Fandom, and how well it was known for loving people in any shape or form, but this is not the Fandom I know. It has turned toxic and hateful. Divided and warlike. And if you donāt pick a side you turn into the corpse between the lines.
Either way. Iām taking my muse and leaving. If I want to talk to you, you have some way to contact me. If you donāt oh well. I canāt do it anymore.

Iāll be honest, I really want to leave this blog. Kinda the fandom, the only reason Iām still around here is because of how much work I put into Serif. Iām just kinda forgotten here.Ā
Iām moving serif a fandomless OC. He will be Ā getting a total redesign and revamp. The url Ā is claimed and themed so far, I need a background. Ā I want to commission someone to make the Ā background so if anyone wants to offer feel free Ā to message me.
Iāve finally gotten enough courage to do this. Iāve grown tired of feeling like an alien, or a monster in my own house hold. So Iāve created a Go fund me, because I really need help.

RPer Awareness Announcement
Ask memes.
This a bigger issue than people think. I know people make tons of them, all the way down to RP prompts, questions, drabbles, all that jazz. But this sort of thing needs to be recognized and needs to be addressed:
If someone is reblogging millions upon a millions of ask memes, you should do that person a favor and try to at least send a couple or so asks.
The reason why is because many people on this site want to feel wanted. They want to feel loved and they like the attention, but perhaps itās just the way I feel about it. Either way, it goes a long way if you send someone an ask. Iāve seen many of my favorite RP blogs get close to shutting down because no one took the time to send at least one ask to that person and itās sad. People reblog literally PAGES of ask memes and no one sends them anything.
So, please, just try to care for your fellow partner and send an ask. You never know when their blog might break because of it.

Look, there are times when the Undertale fandom is a literal garbage cesspool. Glorifying abusive relationships, disgusting inter-ship hate, a lot of negativity centered around how certain characters are perceived (I could go on for pages about the Great Frisk Gender Debate). There are plenty of times when I wonder why Iām even here.
But today isnāt one of those days
Guys, Iāve been in the fandom game for a long time now. Iāve seen the good ones come and go. I was there for the rise and fall of Superwholock. Iāve been there for the Potterheads. Iāve grief-counseled for the Merling fandom. Iāve been here long enough that the Marvel fanbase still seems like a baby to me.
And I have never seen a fandom become so creative, so fast.
There are SO MANY AUS, GUYS. SO MANY.
So youāve got your basic Swap one, where characters change personalities around. Itās a fleshed out au, but nothing I havenāt seen a version of before.
Then youāve got yourĀ āeverything is darker, and kind of evilā au. Again, itās really interesting in itās own right, but I have seen versions of this in other fandoms
Thenā¦they combine? And yet are still somehow distinct? Okayā¦
Undertale in space? Wow, thatās actually pretty interesting!
Wait? Sans combines with Gaster, and searches for holes in the universe with an older Frisk, in an attempt to understand Determination and resets more fully? Okayā¦
Sans locked in a Save screen after a genocide run?
Frisk decides to stay in the Ruins with Toriel
Undertale as something out of the mind of Tim Burton or Neil Gaimanā¦with a fully fleshed out backstory?

Donāt even get me started on the random (but genius) little acts with this guy
We have so many aus weāve started building crossdimensional characters.
Weāve made a destroyer
and a guardian
the Star Sanses, who help protect, and Cross Sans, who wants to create a world of his own
And this is barely scratching the surface.
The point is, this fandom, while often full of drama and hard to live with, is also excessively creative, and filled with a million interesting ideas. It hasnāt even been two years since the original game came out, and yet weāve fleshed out a rich and complex world. All made largely by independent creators, likely working with no financial impetus and no chance of becoming famous outside of a select group on the internet. They did it for love of a game, and for the ideas that it sparked in them
So despite all the times this fandom has let me down
I am still so damn proud to count myself a part of this beautifully creative team
