I hate Sadie’s sanitized soft white girl music and style #I hate that the lesson we were supposed to learn from them was that they are both happier without each other #I hate how Lars was tortured by the narrative to such an unbelievable degree #I hate that literally everything he ever loved was taken away from him and replaced by a random group of aliens he’d just met #I hate that they went the ‘found family’ direction with Lars as if he didn’t already have one #as if the one he had wasn’t worth mending and fighting for #I hate that he’s immortal and thus permanently alienated from all the people he cared about #I hate that he has to watch them all die.
