Neur Neur, what do you think will happen if Ludwig and MC finally met ach other and end up being really close friends but then he slowly starts realizing that he's slowly falling for her? even if he doesn't, because lets be for real sometimes feeling are just like that tbh, what do you think he'll in that situation especially if Lane subtlety pointed out to him?

I think Lub would probably start keeping his distance from MC once he realizes what’s happening. And tbh, I can see him being a little cautious around her from the very beginning too, mainly because of two things: Lane likes her and she’s a girl. 😭 He might get flustered more easily than he’d like to admit.

I think his friendship with Lane would mean way more to him than pursuing a girl he’s only recently started developing feelings for, especially when that girl is also his best friend’s crush. It’d probably feel like he was violating his own code, so I can see him taking a step back and giving himself some time to cool off before those feelings get any deeper.

And the fact that he lives pretty far away from Lane would probably make that easier for him. He doesn’t have that many opportunities to physically run into MC anyway, so he might actually use the distance to his advantage and convince himself that if he doesn’t see her as much, the feelings will eventually go away.

I also don’t think he’d immediately deny his feelings once he actually realizes them. If Lane subtly pointed it out before Lub had figured it out himself, I can totally see him going “No way dude. That’s your work wife.” Not necessarily because he’s lying, but because he genuinely hadn’t considered MC that way yet.

But once it actually clicks for him? I don’t think he’d hide it from Lane. He might be embarrassed as hell about it, but I don't think he'd lie to his best friend. At the same time, I don't think he'd immediately act on those feelings either. He'd probably become noticeably less engaged with MC, try to keep conversations shorter, or find other things to occupy himself with so he doesn't make the situation worse.

I also don't think Lub is the type who'd be particularly good at hiding how he feels. So trying to distance himself from MC might make it even more obvious that something's going on :))

Basically, I think he'd be stuck between “I can't help how I feel” and “but this is my best friend's girl.” (they're not even dating). And knowing Lub, he'd probably choose the friendship and try his hardest to bury the romantic side of it rather than risk hurting Lane or messing up a friendship that's lasted for years.
